Mascaras of 2008: 1-rating

I’m back! I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. I enjoyed mine immensely. I am taking a break on Mascara Monday to bring you the entire list of reviewed mascaras of 2008.

Welcome to the first post of the 5-post installment of Mascaras of 2008! I would have never thought that I would be an avid mascaras but alas the bug has bit me and I enjoy bringing mascara reviews “Clumps” style. Whatever that means. 😉

First up are mascaras with the 1-rating. This means…well, they sucked. They were a waste of money. The only BENEFIT in purchasing these was to help others NOT purchase them. I am still having nightmares about that Wet ‘N Wild one. And don’t let Rihanna’s darling little commercials and ads fool you…CoverGirl’s Exact Eyelights, in my opinion, is the most dangerous mascara I have ever reviewed. Find out why!

Sephora Lash Plumper

Wet ‘N Wild’s MegaVolume
CoverGirl Exact Eyelights

What do you think? Can anyone else co-sign on CG’s Eyelights? Am I overreacting? What is by far the WORST mascara that you have ever reviewed?

Stay tuned tomorrow for 2-rating mascaras.

    Hey there,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Great Blog!! I personally loved your pics …. Must admit you have a great sense of style. Keep up the good work.
PS: I have initiated an idea to create a fashion and style blogroll where bloggers from the jewelry, fashion, style and beauty could participate.
All you need to do is to add my blog link to your blog and i’ll do the same.
That way, we could have a mutual partnership and we could refer visitors to each other’s blog.
Please let me know if you would be interested.

    Hey B
    I remember your eyelights
Though I must say I don’t get clumping from it but it certainly doesn’t do what it claims, such a loser mascara!

Just found your blog… LOVES IT! I am a self proclaimed product fiend. Forget junkie. I passed that stage when I had to buy a THIRD train case to hold my stuff… That’s right 3 full size train cases of product. I am a dark-skinnededed (as if you couldn’t tell by the pic) girl who was afraid to play with color. I only wore golds/bronzes. Then one day this wonderful MAC associate introduced this shy girl to the world of color… I ain’t been the same since. Though I go naked faced (save some L’Oreal HIP gel eyelinger and the Colossal mascara) most days, when I do have the opportunity to play with my colors, i get so exited. I’m telling you now, I’m stealing ideas!

Love it, love u, love that thing you do!
