Amor de Lacquer: Zoya’s Tart

| January 7, 2009 | 5 Comments

Welcome to another post of Amor de Lacquer….the series all about nail polish and nail care! Send me your requests, suggestions and ideas to Brittany@ClumpsOfMascara.com.

I am so enamored with nail polishes that I had a hard time trying to figure out which ones to take with me on my trip to Atlanta. I seriously stood looking at my 100+ stash trying to figure out which bottle would be one of the “lucky ones”. Zoya’s Tart managed to catch my eye and I proclaimed it to be my official birthday polish color. Tart did not disappoint.

It took only 2 coats to get the bottle color. One coat could have probably done the trick because the color is so rich. I have been using the Dazzle Dry Nail System for my base and top coats and it is AMAZING (review coming soon). Zoya’s Tart lasted a good 2 days, which is darn near a record for me considering I polish my nails every day. I loved wearing this electric blue on my birthday. I don’t get to play around with brighter colors because of work so this was a nice little treat for me.

Of course I had to be all extra with it.

Yes I was playing “celebrity” in that little get-up. My best friend went around honking and I waved to people telling them that it was my birthday. I’m a mess like that.

So thank you, Zoya Tart. You made my birthday so cool….like icy cold blue.

*crickets*

Okay….I thought it was funny. Smile because I know you thought so too. You can purchase this Big 3 Free polish from Zoya.com for $6. As a matter of fact…you can actually get it for free! Zoya has a dynamite trade-in deal going on right now. I say you dive in. Zoya’s selection and polish formulas are insanely amazing. Click the image below for details.

That blue is absolutely beautiful!! Where in town can you buy zoya nail polish? I’m too really into nailpolish. Kinda putting makeup buying to the side and purchasing nail polish. (lol)

I'm looking forward to your dazzle review. I took my wraps off my nails right before Christmas and am looking for tips on how to keep my natural nails long & healthy!

P.S. Love your tattoo! Did it hurt? I ask b/c I am considering getting one in about the same place. It will be my first.

rmcandlelight–> You're just like me. I buy polishes more that I buy make-up. Ain't that somethin'? You can't buy Zoya in town, mamas. Only online. But–it's worth it, I promise!

Ms. Aja B–> Stay tuned for the tips!
Thaaaanks. Of my 3 tats, that one is my absolute favorite. Of course it depends on your pain tolerance but it didn't hurt me at all. Piercings on the other hand….

Alyssia–> Isn't it gorgeousness? Did you?! One time for wrist tats!! What did you get?
