I can’t believe I am just now sharing this y’all and I’ve been using it for ages! When I first saw NARS Albatross highlighter ($25) in person, I wasn’t impressed. It looked to be a little too shimmery for me and a tad bit too frosty for my brown skin. But then it came in my NARS Bridal palette. And oh.mi.goodness. What was I thinking? Albatross is a MUST have.
Reader Petrina wanted me to do a formal review on it so I decided to do that AND incorporate it in a FOTD. Sound good?
Sephora describes Albatross has a “sheer light golden sheen” which I think is pretty accurate. It is packaged in the same packaging as the blushes but is most known as a highlighter.
Promise me that y’all won’t laugh at the condition of my Albatross. It’s been through rough times but it is still beautiful and that’s all that matters.

So what do you DO with Albatross? I looooove it as a highlight under my brows. I also use it on my cheeks. I’ll show you how later. For this FOTD, I wanted Albatross to pop–which is does so easily on my ‘seems like’ 3-mile long lids. See….

I tweeted this yesterday and most folx weren’t impressed. I’m not either as they seem to be a tad bit frosty. But we’ll see….I’ll snag them and do some swatching. Of course when they go on sale. LOL!
