This is what a Spa Day looks like at Mama Clumps’ house. She wanted to treat my cousins (l-r: Nikki, BriAna and Corey) to an evening of making products that they could use to pamper themselves. First they made homemade hand sanitizers.
What you’ll need to make this:
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
1/4 cup of vodka or EverClear alcohol
10 drops of fragrance oil
1 drop of food coloring (optional)
First you mix up everything…
…then you funnel it in a re-usable bottle. Mama Clumps is eco-friendly.
Why didn’t I think about giving these away as gifts? Grated soap with a tad bit of water makes a milky consistency in which loose flower (fake) petals can be dipped it. Toss them in a dish and place them in your bathroom. Way better than pump soap, right?
Mommy and Corey also made shea based body butters.
‘Twas a wonderful post-Christmas gift for us all.
Do you have ‘spa days’? Or make your own products? Next time I head, I’m going to have Mama Clumps help me make a lip balm. And of course I’ll need another dose of my nettle infused jojoba hair oil.
Mama knows best!
