WHAT? How Have I Not Tried Yes to Carrots?

First of all, I am a bit embarrassed at having never tried the brand Yes to Carrots. I mean, seriously? Am I deserving of the beauty blogger title? I’m not sure, girls. But when a press sample of this landed in my mailbox, I couldn’t help but get geeked up and here’s why…

Yes To Carrots

(1) It’s fragrance free and (2) It’s fragrance free!

People think I’m trying to be all hip and cool by preferring only fragrance free products, but I promise I’m not. Fragrances don’t bode well with my problematic skin and even if I didn’t have THOSE issues, I’ve got the “fragrance so strong that I’ve entered Migraine Hell” issue. I stopped wearing perfumes years ago simply because just a spritz would send my head a spiralin’. And so I can appreciate when brands that I love and respect cater to the fragrance free lovin’ guys and girls of the world.

I’ve reviewed several facial wipes so really these aren’t crazy different from those. However, I do think that the inclusion of beta carotene (from carrots) to help maintain skin’s softness is a fabulous addition. Also included is Vitamin E which assists in moisturizing the skin.

As with most facial wipes, I would recommend using your makeup remover prior to using this. While it may do a good job with removing foundation, powder and lipstick, chances are your primary makeup remover will do a better job at removing the heavy duty stuff like waterproof mascara and eye shadow primer.

Still. For $5.99 which will grant you 25 wipes, I think these are a perfect and budget-friendly option for those who have been wanting to try facial wipes. Aaaanad, you can easily find them at Target, Walgreens and Whole Foods.

Weeeee! Now I want to try the entire line-up of Yes to Carrots stuff. What should I try next?

  • I have a night moisturizer from Yes to Cucumbers and it’s the best thing for my sensitive combination skin! It’s not so thick as to make my face a total grease pit during the night, but it definitely soothes my skin and has helped with the redness a bit :) Great review! I’ll have to check out these wipes! x

*adds moisturizer to the list* Thank youuu!!!

  • Their lip butter! I use the mint one–it’s my go-to always. I also like their moisturizers. Oh heck… I love all of their products!

When I think of YTC, I always think of you, Aunie. 😉

I love the Yes to carrots day and night moisturizers (in the tubs). I have also tried the yes to cucumbers moisturizers but they have a strong smell and are much lighter so I think I might like them more in summer. I need more moisture in harsh Canadian winters. I was looking for pregnancy friendly skincare and these do the trick!

      Thanks for the recs, mama!

  • I’ve never tried Carrots either, but now I know they are fragrance free I need to! I am so glad I am not alone in my issues with fragrance!

    • Brittany

      Yessss, you too, huh?

  • I liked their shower gel when I tried it years ago. :)

    • Brittany

      Putting that on my list!

  • I just bought a Yes to Baby Carrots Diaper Rash Cream that my baby is enjoying, but I have not tried too many things from the yes to line. I have used the yes to cucumbers face wipes that I liked, but they are not fragrance free. They have a strong, but fresh and clean cucumber scent.

I didn’t know they made baby products toooooo. Where have I been?

  • Please try any lip balm by YTC. The lipbalms are great! I owned a few and ran out, haven’t bought any more because I have a massive amount of other lip balms that I need to use up. And I heard they also have hand cream too :)
