Technically this is a July 2015 edition since August is still brand spanking new but roll with me on this one, okay? I feel like I am really becoming more of a lifestyle blogger because as much as I love all things beauty, it’s non-beauty things that are peaking my interest these days. Am I outgrowing beauty stuff, y’all? Naw, never that. I still geek out over makeup and lovingly pet the nail polishes in my collection. But come on – there’s so much more to life and I am HEREEEE for it.

I love food. I’m grateful that I can actually eat it. The first 4 months of pregnancy means I pretty much die and don’t eat. In fact, smelling food makes me sick. Now that I’m over that hump, GIVE ME EVERYTHING. In moderation, of course. I’ve been fighting most cravings but then I give into quite a bit, too. I try to even it out by consuming my fair share of veggies and getting a good 90 oz of water down each day. It makes up for my forgetting to take my prenatal pills almost every day. Or so I hope. I’m also into food styling which is so random because who cares? Just eat! But noooo, when I go out or I’m preparing something, I’m thinking about the area and lighting and all kinds of effects. I could be a food blogger! Just kidding.
