It has been 3 months, babes! Remember when I first talked about my mission to whiten my teeth using Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen? I’ve taken quite a few travels in the past 3 months and I’m surprised that I remembered to bring my beloved toothbrush along each time. I can’t stress to you how nice it is to have a whitening product built in your toothbrush. Such a genius idea and one that will likely have me repurchasing this toothbrush just for the convenience. Because look – busy women and mamas simply don’t have the time to sit and wait for their teeth to whiten. I love how simple using this toothbrush is. It takes away the whole “put this on your teeth and remove in 10-30 minutes” thing and allows you to brush, whiten and go. It really couldn’t be easier. But is it effective? I would say so! To stretch it out a bit, I used the toothbrush twice a day but only used the Whitening Pen once a day. A little goes a long way and even after 3 months, I’ve got just a little left. Because you can use any kind of toothpaste with this, I’m thinking that can make a bit of a difference in the results that you may see. I didn’t use a whitening toothpaste because I wanted to see how well the Whitening Pen did on its own. [Read more…]

It is officially T minus 2 weeks before I am too pregnant to function. I think I’m ready and after getting the house in order, I am working on self-pampering. Because let’s face it, there is very little to no pampering going down with a newborn in the house. But you know what? I’m one of those women that reuses to give up on herself. I don’t care what it takes. I will find a millisecond in a day to do something special for me.
And you should do the same, babe. This, I think, applies to all women. We do a lot, man. We deserve to treat ourselves every now and then.
Remember when I first talked about Roux and how ideal it was for expectant moms who weren’t able to color their hair during those three trimesters? I’m back to remind you about the fabulous contest that Roux Beauty has going on and to encourage you to enter! Because who couldn’t use hair care products for a year or a brand new Louis Vuitton purse? Current Roux lovers will definitely want to get in on this fun. Upload your picture so we can all see how fabulous your curls, tresses, ‘fros are looking!
I cared for my skin from the inside out with Aveeno® as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #Aveeno
Sooo, it’s back. My eczema, that is. I should really blame myself because while I usually avoid dairy products, I lose my mind when I’m pregnant. For some reason, my hormones are actually kind to me and I can tolerate dairy better while pregnant. So your girl has been going crazy. Aaaand my skin has a problem with it. I’ve become twinsies with the Belle and we are both dealing with cracking skin, inflamed skin and rashes. Lovely, right?
It’s a good time to be exploring these Aveeno® products because this Daily Moisturizing Body Wash has been helping ease my skin a bit. And that’s probably because this baby has Colloidal Oatmeal in it.
Yes babes, oatmeal doesn’t make for just a yummy breakfast meal, it can also be an incredibly healing and soothing ingredient for us sensitive skincare folx. You can absolutely tell the difference when you’re using it. Because eczema has the tendency to dry the skin out, this Body Wash does a beautiful job at locking in that moisture – even after a hot shower! Yes, impressive, it is.
Three more reasons why I love it?
It’s finally starting to feel like Fall around here. I showcased the first part of Zoya’s Fall collection (the lovely Focus) and now I’m back to share off Flair. I got a press sample of these months back and now that the weather has been feeling all Fall-like, these could not have been swatched at a better time.
I’ve done a lot of crazy things in my life. From spontaneously moving across the country to marrying a dude I met off of the internet and eating my placenta, I rarely shock myself anymore. My friends are used to this and often laugh at my antics. When I came up with the idea to take EB on an “Almost Big Sister” trip to Walt Disney World while pregnant, no one tried to stop me. And they should have.
Because that was by far the craziest thing that I’ve ever done. No overly pregnant woman should be waddling around Walt Disney World. But this post isn’t about why you shouldn’t do it. I’m going to highlight our up’s and great experiences while casually noting how much BETTER they could have done if I weren’t so you know…pregnant.

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Cetaphil – a well known brand that I’m sure many of you skincare lovers have been gushing over for years. And years. I first learned about Cetaphil when I was a teenager. It has been FOREVER since I’ve tried anything from them but I’m in shock that their products are still rockin’. As much as they were when I was playing with them.
And who knew they had such a wide range of products? I didn’t! From washes and cleansers to lotions and towelettes, there’s something for everyone. Cetaphil has always been known as a brand that caters to those of us with sensitive skin. This was me and this is STILL me. But, if you’re one of those people who have fabulous skin (grrr…LOL, just kidding) Cetaphil is for you, too. I love when brands cater to those of us with ALL skin types. These products will work for a 13-year old and for mature skin. Everyone wins.
There is something about October. I really can’t put my finger on what it is specifically but I love everything about this month. I never realized how glorious it felt before. Pumpkin spice has nothing to do with it, either. But aside from being excited about change in the weather and and the impending birth of baby #2, so many of my brands are doing these glorious sales. Shopbop included!
Yes, I know…I am forever bragging about Shopbop and their fabulous purses, shoes and fits but if you’ve got some extra pennies on hand and want to treat yourself (or get a head start on holiday shopping), now is the time!
