Reason #1 Why You Should Always Have Your Passport Ready…

…because you may get a phone call asking if you’d like to attend an awesome blogger event on a 5-day cruise to Mexico.

20140402-190410.jpg
This totally happened. I had less than 12 hours to pack and get my life together to leave the country. While I was completely crushed about getting laid off from my awesome job, I’ve been finding that everything really does happen for a reason. Posts were slow all last week and I blame it all on that awful WordPress app for iPhone and iPad. Had it been decent, I could have told you all about my time on a lovely Royal Caribbean cruise and my time in Mexico.

But since I couldn’t post then, I’ll make up for it this week by spamming Clumps with travel-friendly photos. You don’t mind, do you?

XOXO

Experience the Mid-week Magic at the Amway Center!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Orlando Magic. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ooooh, basketball fans (especially the ones in the Orlando area), I’ve got somethin’ for you. While I have yet to attend an Orlando Magic game, I am starting to think I have a serious reason for needing to go.

And why wouldn’t I? I mean, honestly…have you seen the Amway Center? It’s stunning in itself. How I have never ventured inside is beyond me. This is all kinds of craziness considering I worked in a building close to the Amway Center and watched it go from a patch of grass to the massive building that can be seen from Interstate 4.

But something super special goes down on Wednesday nights at the Amway. If you trek on down that way between 5:30-7:00 you’ll run into a pre-game Happy Hour at ‘Ronas an Ritas. This outside bar has the drinks a flowin’ and the music a thumpin’. And girl look…you don’t even have to go broke trying to buy a drink because helllooo – they have drink specials starting at $3.

Now you’ll have to purchase a ticket to get access to ‘Ronas and Ritas but who exciting is it that you can score a 2-in-1? You’ll get a chance to have an awesome time and good drinks AND see the Magic WIN!

Time is a tickin’ so if you’ve been meaning to head out to the Amway Center, you’ve only got 3 more games to head to:

-August 2nd vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
-August 9th vs. Brooklyn Nets
-April 16th vs. Indiana Pacers

Question of the Week:

What’s the one makeup product you can

What say you, darling?

See you next week!

Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen

I have always believed that after well polished nails, an outfit is not complete without a gorgeous smile. Thanks to the lovely people at Colgate your smile can become even more radiant. Colgate has introduced the Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen which makes brushing and whitening a simple step. I was so excited to receive a sample of this!

Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen

The toothbrush is designed remove the surface stains from your teeth and the whitening pen contains hydrogen peroxide which helps cleaning beyond surface stains. The whitening pen is right under the toothbrush so it is convenient and you wont have to worry about losing it.

So now the important – question does it work?

Colgate Optic White

YES!  I love this toothbrush whitening pen combo. This is the first whitening product I have used that didn’t make my teeth feel super sensitive and afraid to eat right after using. The whitening gel is a little gritty at first, but it dries in seconds and your teeth look whiter and brighter.

Colgate Whitening Gel

After using so many whitening strips, mouthwashes, and whitening molds this is the most convenient whitening product that I have ever used.  At $14.99 this toothbrush whitening pen combo is available everywhere and a must have in my beauty book.

So…what do you think? Would you use the Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen to dazzle your smile?

Soooo About Eyeglasses…1 Pair? Or Many?

DSC_0590

This post is  brought to you by Zenni eyeglasses and it has been a hot little minute since I’ve been shopping for eyeglasses. Once upon a time a very loooooong time ago, I actually spent hundreds of dollars on my eyeglasses. I did. I was foolish enough to think that I could only purchase my eyeglasses in the same little office where I had my office exams. It just made sense, right? Exam + purchase = a happy girl with her vision correction. And then I discovered Zenni eyeglasses and I have seen the light.

I remember when eyeglasses were primarily for people that actually needed the vision correction. Now and days, eyeglasses are a fashion accessory. Some people rock ’em…for no reason, actually. And hey, if that’s your thing, who am I to knock it? But seriously, if you’re going to spend money on non-prescription glasses, it could help if said glasses didn’t cost you an arm and a leg, am I right?

Zenni rocks because you can snag fashionable and gorgeous frames for affordable prices. The “nerd” look appears to be in style (which is crazy because when I was growing up, it definitely wasn’t a style…ha!) and Zenni has a nice selection of larger frames that will likely fit girls and guys of all face shapes.

I’ve managed to put 3 different frames in my cart and to my guys and girls that rock eyeglasses, riddle me this…do you stick with 1 pair of glasses or do you tend to switch it up a bit? I’m not able to do change my frames everyyyyyday, but I kinda like the idea of having a few bold frames and then 1 or 2 neutral and professional frames.

What say you?
