Beautiful mishaps with BAND-AID

I know, I know. I’ve got some ‘splanin’ to do. But honestly, are you surprised that I’m walking around with a bandage on my cheek? This is me we’re talking about. I’ve been known to do a lot of loco-ness. But I promise you…there is a purpose behind the BAND-AID. Speaking of which, who knew a BAND-AID could be so…fashion forward? Those were my thoughts when I first laid eyes on the brand’s bandages designed by fashion designer Cynthia Rowley.

How ca-ute, uh? Sold anywhere BAND-AID brand products are sold, you can grab a box of these the next time you  you have a fashion malfunction. And considering I’m Clumsy Clara, I HAVE to have a box of  bandages on deck.  Have you ever had a super fly pair of shoes that do a number on your legs? Protect ‘em with a BAND-AID.

And don’t even get me started on paper cuts. I get those suckers alllll the time. But at least now I can heal in style.

In.love. Scoot over Hello Kitty BAND-AIDs. There is a new crew in town.

Yep, I keep BAND-AIDs in my glove compartment. I know, I know. 8) As a Fashion Emergency Blogger Ambassador, I’ve got to keep you up on what’s going on with BAND-AID. They are currently running a Fashion Malfunction Contest on Facebook. Share your embarrassing fashion mishap and be entered to win a $2,500 Cynthia Rowley fashion spree and styling session.

And if you’re in NYC for Fashion Week, be sure to visit the Glambulance.

This repurposed ambulance is rollin’ with a hair stylist, seamstress, make-up artist and First-Aid supplies. You can catch these beauty box on wheels in New York City’s 65th and Broadway from 1pm-9pm.

And don’t forget to follow the fabulous Cynthia Rowley on Twitter and follow Glambulance updates using the hashtag #glambulance.

Ciao pretties!

YouTube+Maybelline New York=You at Fashion Week!

‘ello darlings! Today kicks off the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City! Fashion Week is like the beauty/fashion lovers’ holiday. We go bananas for the styles and trends that hit the runway. I wasn’t able to make it but that doesn’t mean I can’t clue you in on all of the happenings on the stages and behind them. This season I am a Maybelline New York Beauty Ambassador and wooooowsers….Maybelline has SO many ways for you to be involved in this season’s Fashion Week. Even if you aren’t in New York.

*squeals* I’m excited! While I don’t think I can watch every show (you know…with my day job and all), I’m be tuning in as much as I can. If you’re stuck in the tumbleweeds like I am, follow Maybelline’s Tumblr.

Anyone else excited about Fashion Week? Excuse me while I go do a cartwheel and few skips down the hall. Weeee!

Around Orlando: The Clumps sisters take over Disney World

A few weeks ago, I spontaneously went to Disney World with my sisters Courtney and Imani. I say spontaneously because while some of you spend months and years planning a  trip to Disney, it only took me like…an hour. Crazy, uh? Living in one of the tourist capitals of the world has its benefits. I didn’t take too many pictures because I was too busy acting like a child but we had so much fun.

Courtney has watched one too many episodes of America’s Next Top Model. Haaaa!

I look at my youngest sister Imani and I’m like…how in the world did she grow up so fast? How is she in 7th grade already?

They forced me to take these pictures.

*squeals* Walking through this part of Magic Kingdom brings back so many memories.

I swear I could stare at this castle allllll day.

Splash Mountain. The ride that I used to love but will probably throw up my guts if I got on now.

Don’t laugh. This ride is the best.

More pretty pictures of the castle…

You haven’t seen a crowd until you’ve seen one at Disney World.

It’s madness. But a blissful madness. I hope to take another trip this year with Mama Clumps. I haven’t been to Disney World with my Mommy since….I can’t even remember when. Plus, if I take her, she’ll pay for everything. 8) I kid, I kid.

A little….
