Giveaway! Caress Fine Fragrance Elixir body washes!

Ooooh yes, darlings…as we continue to celebrate Clumps of Mascara’s 4th anniversary, I’ve got another fantastic giveaway. Brace yourself for this one. This giveaway will make your summer a little sweeter…

Have you seen these gorgeous body washes in stores yet? I saw them at my local Target and fell in love at first whiff. I held from purchasing because my skin has been ultra sensitive; leaving me only able to use specially prescribed soaps and lotions. But that doesn’t mean a Clumps guy or gal can’t win one of these decadent body washes.

Pooka Pure & Simple

Nothing excites me more than getting the opportunity to review products from up and coming brands. I fell in love with the Pooka Pure & Simple at first sniff. This women-owned business has a passion for natural skincare and haircare products. I soooo wish I could translate a smell into words. But since I can’t, you’ll have to fall for the pics. Brace yourself…

Yo, LUSH Karma solid perfume…I love you!

It’s been forever and a day since I’ve splurged on an actual perfume. My nose isn’t even attracted to them anymore. I am now a fan of fragrances that have more of natural and woodsy scent. Plus, I find that they are better for me health-wise. Traditional fragrances tend to mess with my allergies a bit. I didn’t WANT to purchase this solid perfume from LUSH. But alas, my favorite LUSH guy convinced me to…

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE this fragrance. If I could bottle my personality up in a scent, Karma would be it. It’s subtle but strong. It isn’t demanding but it leaves a mark. It lingers, it’s interesting and it definitely can’t be compared to any other scent. It’s original and unique. It has patchouli and citrus notes and I can see how many people don’t like it. It isn’t your average fragrance. And I think that’s why I love it so much.

The solid perfume is long-lasting and perfect for traveling. I’ve been using it for a month or so now and I’ve still got a big chunk left. Not bad for $9.95. And because many LUSH fans realize how awesome Karma is, it also comes in a body cream, bubble bar, body powder and soap. But I like it best on the wrists and on my neck. You know you want to try it. Snag it from the LUSH website or take a stroll to your neighborhood LUSH store.

LUSH Bath Bomb: Dragon’s Egg…yummy!

Not that I actually tasted this thing. That would be bad. VERY bad. Watching this bath bomb spin around in the tub reminded me of orange sherbet. My Grandma in Miami and I would eat that ALL the time.

Doesn’t that look cool?

Dragon’s Egg is a citrus-y bath bomb with notes of lemon and bergamot. It smells divine but what it DOES is even better. After spinning and twirling and going from color to color, it oozes beautiful gold glitter everywhere.

It was small enough to where it didn’t irritate my skin but left me in a beautiful tub of orange water. I loved this one. It may be AS good as my Twilight bath bomb.

Have you tried Dragon’s Egg bath bomb yet?

Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe Soap. But it’s not purty.

I’m a total Kiss My Face fan but I’m on the fence about this soap.

It has a grassy/plant-y smell and the color of the bar isn’t all that attractive. The saving grace of this soap, however, is how good it makes my skin feel. And it contains so few ingredients that you don’t have to worry about your skin flaring up. The aloe is soothing and the olive oil is moisturizing. They are available in several fragrances (Olive & Honey, Olive & Tea Tree, Olive & Lavender, etc) and you can snag 4 bars for under $5.99.

Still. There’s something about the color of the bar that makes me unhappy. Am I exaggerating? Whatcha think?
