Beauty Bee-haviors: I have way too many!

Welcome to another post from the Beauty Bee-haviors series. In this series we have open discussions about any and everything in the beauty world and beyond.

You probably say it all the time.

To your girlfriends. Or maybe to your boyfriend or husband. OR….maybe they say it to you.

What do you own TOO much of?

Be honest….we all know what TOO MUCH is.

For me….that would be blushes. I own at least 20+.

And the sad thing is, I hardly wear them. As much as I love blush, I usually stick to the same 2-3. I don’t see myself purchasing any more any time soon.

What do you have many of? Or too much of?

Tell me!

Beauty Bee-haviors: How many mascaras do you have?

Welcome to another post from the Beauty Bee-haviors series. In this series we have open discussions about any and everything in the beauty world.
How many mascaras do you have?

Do you stick with one or are you constantly buying more?
Yall know that I am a mascara reviewer but I only have about 4 mascaras. Seriously! That’s it!
What do I do with the ones I review?

No, I don’t save my receipt and return them all. That could have probably worked once or twice but I have reviewed over 40 mascaras so how would that look? HA! I usually trash them. Some are given to me but most of them I purchase. In the future I think I will use disposable wands as I test mascaras. That way if I don’t like them I can give them to friends and family.

But enough about me. What about you?

Beauty Bee-haviors: Is your lipstick toxic?

Welcome to another post from the Beauty Bee-haviors series. In this series we have open discussions about any and everything in the beauty world and beyond.

I got this discussion idea from a lovely reader named Paula. Thanks darlin‘!!

She forwarded me THIS link. SafeCosmetics.org tells you all about what’s in your cosmetics and how some of things we are using our hazardous to our well-beings. It’s a little scary to say the least. But we need to be informed.

Spend some time browsing SafeCosmetics.org and then share your thoughts here.

What if you found out that your favorite lipstick, blush, perfume, shampoo or nail polish contained toxic ingredients. I mean….this is your all-time FAVORITE beauty product. Would you continue to use it? Or trash it for the sake of your health?

The sad reality is that most of the cosmetics on the market are un-safe. So what’s a gal to do? I do have a great deal of skincare/haircare products that are all-natural and safe but most if not ALL of my cosmetics contain some “not so good” additives.

What should we do? Is this something you ever think about?

Beauty Bee-haviors: Leaving the house without make-up on.

Welcome to another post from the Beauty Bee-haviors series. In this series we have open discussions about any and everything in the beauty world and beyond.

So….can you leave the house without make-up on? Be honest.

I can. I usually do. Don’t think for one second that just because I am a beauty editor and enthusiast that I WEAR make-up allllll the time.

Correction:
The most I will do on an average day is eyeliner, lip gloss and mascara. And that’s on a good day!

I am always rushing to work in the morning and never have time to “play” in my make-up.

What about you?

Yay or nay to leaving the house without make-up on.
Do you feel “different” without it on?

Tell me your thoughts!

Beauty Bee-haviors: Online Purchases

Welcome to another post from the Beauty Bee-haviors series. In this series we have open discussions about any and everything in the beauty world.

So….do you buy beauty products online?
Why or why not?

Lemme tell you….I used to HATE buying items online. And it wasn’t because I was afraid of using my credit card information. Or because I feared that it wouldn’t get to me.

I didn’t like buying online because I hated waiting!

Living in a city like Orlando, Florida has spoiled me. I am surrounded by Sephora and Ulta’s, a MAC Pro store and discount outlets, all within 20 minutes from me. I can pretty much get anything I want when I want it. But to wait for it…..drives me nuts.

That doesn’t stop me from ordering though. 90% of my nail polish purchases are done online.

What about you? Nay or yay to online purchases.
