Allow me to introduce you to a 21 year old college student with a passion driven entrepreneurial spirit.

My name is Fatima Spencer. I am 21 years old and was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am the second youngest of 8 children. I currently attend Xavier University as a Spanish major, with a focus in Advertising. I will be graduating in the Spring of 2011. Outside of academics, I enjoy producing music, gardening, and creating floral accessories.

I hope to use my degree to fuel a more successful business for my career after college. I own a business known as Flowers From Fatima, which was founded in December of 2009. Flowers From Fatima is a special line of trendy floral accessories for women.

The line includes hair clips, headbands, and wrist corsages that are great for women of all ages and ideal for all occasions, from weddings to prom. They work well for everyday wear, too. No matter what the occasion, Flowers From Fatima has just the right piece to help you achieve that glamorous look.

Check out her shop and support her! Fatima, you’re amazing.

Sista Show-Off: Tatted Sparkles

I love showing off the baby bloggers. Once upon a time Clumps of Mascara was a baby blog. I averaged a good ten readers my first YEAR. And it never seemed to bother me. A true blogger blogs because she has a voice and a passion…not because she needs a gajillion readers.

But a few readers loving your posts doesn’t hurt either. Which is why I wanted to feature baby blogger Amanda from Tatted Sparkles.

What she says about herself:

I’m just a frugal wifey and mommy who loves ALL beauty products, MOST tattoos and YUMMY cooking =) However I have a whole lot more to explore and talk about. I’m a recent college grad trying to find a career in this tough economy, a young God fearin’ mommy of an (EKKK) almost 3 year old, makeup & food fanatic, and so much more. I have a voice and I want my voice heard, its as simple as that. I was inspired to start my blog to reach people…the chunky girl with self esteem issues, the married woman who just had a miscarriage, the guy who grew up with messed up parents…just to let them know they’re not alone. Yet also to show people my personality and insight. And to get advice and views from others as well.

Did someone say tattoos? Y’all know I love ‘em! Show Amanda some love and tell her B sent you!

Sista Show-Off: UK beauy blogger Wande

Welcome to another post from the Sista Show Off series! In this series I like to show some love to other companies, blogs, businesses, organizations or just regular ladies like myself who are paving the way for women everywhere! Let me feature you! Shoot me an email at Brittany@ClumpsOfMascara.com.

After the U.S. and Canada, my UK readers show Clumps of Mascara A LOT of love. Twitter has been introducing me to so many wonderful fellow beauty bloggers in U.K. Add the gorgeous Wande to that list.

Hit the jump to see what Wande has to say about her online home.
Wande’s World is a tongue and cheek beauty and lifestyle blog which features cosmetic reviews from indie, drugstore and luxury brands; makeup looks and tips; along with regular competitions and freebies; plus your weekly dose of fun, confidence and relationship to build your self-esteem! A sucker for gadgets she likes to think of herself as being techno-savvy. She is a social networking freak married to her Blackberry and Twitter. Candid with no tolerance for time wasters, working her beauty both inside and out, Wande is your big sister, who will break it down for you with love and laughter.

I started my blog beauty because I found one problem was that there wasn’t a beauty blog for women of colour from the UK, not just dealing with beauty but other aspects of beauty eg embrasing your natural hair, discussing relationships problems, talking about other beauty related products such as whats the best epilator to use! In ddition I love my YouTube gurus but again I didn’t find someone that is women of colour, on the relatively darker side on youtube, so I hope to solve that problem with www.wandesworld.com.

Sista Show-Off: Hillerie Camille

Welcome to another post from the Sista Show Off series! In this series I like to show some love to other companies, blogs, businesses, organizations or just regular ladies like myself who are paving the way for women everywhere! Let me feature you! Shoot me an email at Brittany@ClumpsOfMascara.com.

Looking to add a fabulous lifestyle, beauty and fashion blogger to your RSS feeder? Search no more!

Check out what Hillerie says inspired her to start a blog.
I always like to describe myself as a traditional-modern woman—you know the type who likes to try the latest recipe, decorate the house, and work the office all while making it look glamorous.

Since I was a little girl, I loved all things glamorous and beautiful. In my little-girl mind, Penny from Good Times was THE “it” girl. I remember at age seven or eight trying to get my hair to look just like Penny’s. You know that style with the little bump and the curls on the side. Chile please!

Sitting in the bathroom, watching my mother do her hair and makeup, was when I became mesmerized by styling. I would look at her and think, “I can’t wait to do that.” I was about five when I first wore makeup. I didn’t “wear” it really, my mother’s friend put a little blush and lipstick on me. I became a supermodel that day.

I grew up watching and helping my grandmother and great-grandmother plan events. Growing up in that type of environment, I learned the skills needed for entertaining and making great food.

I consider myself something of a Martha Stewart type who knows how to work it like Carrie Bradshaw. I love a great shoe with the same passion as a mouthwatering recipe, and do- it-yourself project, so I wrote a blog about it. I hope you love it.

She is as lovely as she is talented. When you visit Hillerie Camille, tell her B from Clumps sent you. :)

While I love mascara, lip gloss and nail polish with a passion, there are more important things to life. Self-awareness is definitely at the top of that list. Fellow blogger Christiana over at Christiana Rants gets that.

Christiana is a classically trained pianist and singer and created a blog called ‘Christiana Rants’, which tackles a variety of topics, ranging from fashion, politics to relationships. Along with running her own website, in 2009 Christiana graduated from University College London with a degree in Politics and East European studies.
Unafraid to use her political voice, Christiana is active in the third sector, working with a numerous non-for-profit oraganisations in their attempt to curb crime and political apathy among young people. Opinionated, informed, and talented, at just 23 years old, Christiana is a bright young talent that is set to be a multi-dimensional media force.

Check out what she has to say,

Rock on, my British sister! I rant as well but you’ll have to email me to get the link to my personal blog. ;)

Sista Show-Off: Frugalista Bloggers

Welcome to another post from the Sista Show Off series! In this series I like to show some love to other companies, blogs, businesses, organizations or just regular ladies like myself who are paving the way for women everywhere! Let me feature you! Y’all know me…I’m cheap. I live a  ‘On a budget, find a sale, where is the clearance rack?’ lifestyle. I am the opposite of a shopaholic. I’ve been frugal for as long as I can remember. And even when I have money…I don’t like spending much of it. That’s just the way I roll. In a world of “You ain’t cool if you ain’t rockin’ $298 shoes”, it is refreshing to see other frugalista-type bloggers.

Cheapalicious.net

If you’re like me and have a hard time buying things WITHOUT a coupon, then you are going to love Cheapalicious. She not blogs about deals and sales, but she shows the clothes, jewelry and shoes she gets for the low. Loves it!

Frugal Chic Depot

Fellow Floridian blogger Jan-Nini shops like me…she doesn’t pay retail for anything. Um, me neither! Unless someone else is payin’. HA! This full time student and Mommy knows how to stay on a budget while looking fierce.

The Frugalista Files

This is my friend, y’all! Yep, Natalie and I were both panel speakers at last year’s Blogalicious Conference. She was the first “frugalista” blogger that I ran into. She drops helpful hints and tips on how you can save money in all areas of your life. She also does little challenges in which she attempts to save even MORE money. “Eating in instead of spending out”? I’m so there!

And I’ve mentioned it before but subscribe to Daily Worth’s newsletter. They have been SO helpful for me. Just last week I learned the importance of paying your credit card bills on time. Who knew even being a day late could REALLY hurt your FICO score? They also have helpful tips for us womenpreneurs out there.

Save now, benefit later, ladies! Any fellow frugalistas in the house?
