Paula’s Choice Skincare Review

Woohoo y’all! I am so excited to finally be blogging about this skincare brand because ever since I announced that I’d be test driving some of their products, many of you gals mentioned how much you LOVE Paula’s Choice. This is a sponsored post through PRIMP and I am so fortunate that I got to try a line of items that were specifically recommended to me by Paula’s Choice fabulous team of experts.

Paula's Choice products

I’ve been playing around with these products for quite some time and as with all skincare products, my opinions may vary compared to the opinions of others. I will say that like with all brands, you will likely find the best results by using an entire line-up of a brand’s products versus just a cleanser, treatment or moisturizer. Make sense? Firstly, let’s see what items were recommended for my acne-prone, hormonal skin that gets blazed by the Florida sun daily.

I Played With Nail Polish

The other day I played in nail polish. Y’all have no idea how long it has been since I had some fun and no pressure play time in my nail polish stash. It doesn’t happen often. In fact, it happened WAY more pre-kid. Now instead of playing in polishes, I’m too busy cleaning a kitchen, attempting to spend time with Esposo or just diving into my newest hobby, reading. But whatever. Sometimes you gotta take it back and play, man.

And play, I did! These are all random polishes that I just grabbed from my stash. They are mostly from the Fall 2014 season and sent to me by the brands. Here’s to hoping there are still available should you fall in love with any of them!

Shopbop Friend & Family Sale

SHOPBOP Friends and Family event

Another month and another fierce Shopbop sale is gracing our wallets and probably making them moan in agony.

Whatever, though.

A sale means you’re actually save money so it’s not all a lost cause. Time to start racking up those summer goodies, babes! I’m thinking sandals, beach scarves and totes, luggage for travel and pretty much anything your little heart desires. I haven’t really started scouring the site yet for anything but I know that I’m going to want to snag something nice for my Mom for Mother’s Day. She’s a Michael Kors lover so maybe she’ll love this?

Oh! And I actually kinda need a Spring wallet and this baby has my name written all over it.

Keep an eye on your calendars! The sale won’t last long. It started yesterday, April 7th and will end Friday, April 10th at 4AM EST. Not a lot of shopping time and you can gurantee that they’ll run out of many of the hot items so better hop to it with the quickness.

Happy shopping!

Spring Cleaning Tips – They’re Easier Than You Think!

Spring Cleaning Tips

The worst part about Spring is spring cleaning. I know it takes a while, but if you get your family to help out, it’s not all that bad. Plus, I have the tips you need to get started and done as quickly as possible.

Make A Chore List

Start by determining what you need to do and who’s going to do it. Every room needs to be cleaned along with outdoor tasks such as windows and patio. Kids can take on their own rooms and your spouse can take on the outdoors. Divide out chores however works best for your family.

Get Rid Of Clutter

Don’t clean a thing until you go through every room and get rid of excess clutter. Throw out those old magazines, donate toys your kids don’t want anymore and clear a path under beds. Getting rid of clutter now makes it easier to clean later.

Driving Around in That Fierce Ford Escape

2014 Ford Escape SUV

Mama needs a new car. Like badly. My little ole’ putt putt is almost 10 years old and while I love her, it’s about time to start thinking about getting something new. Besides, my car was perfect when I was a single gal driving up and down Florida’s highways and byways. It’s about time to upgrade to something for our growing family.
