I've been silent on the newest MAC Collection Cool Heat.
Why? Honestly...I'm not impressed. From the moment I saw the promo pictures I thought that every single eyeshadow color was dupe-able. I haven't even gone to my MAC Pro to see it in person. I just knew I could create a Cool Heat look without...Cool Heat. So check it:
Here's the palette I used.
These are the only blue/turquoise colors I own. I mean....how many does a gal need?
Here's a little diagram to show where I placed the colors.
I used UDPP as a base. I found that using a colored primer (I tried Delft paint pot and a L'Oreal HIP creme liner) made the colors pop TOO much. Because these eyeshadow colors are so highly pigmented and blendable, I found that there was no need for colored bases.
I also used:
Vanilla pigment as a highlight
Clinique purple liner on waterline
Milani liquid liner on lower lash line
SpinLash mascara
LIPS:
Urgent Slimshine (thanks Nywele!)
FACE:
MAC Studio Finish concealer in NW45
Bobbi Brown Brownie Shimmerbrick
(I seriously don't see myself ever wearing foundation again. Is that bad? Heheheee....)
LOL, my flared nostrils. Cracks me up. I am really satisfied with passing on everything in the Cool Heat collection. However, if you are new to make-up or blues in general, this may be the perfect collection for you! I would love to hear your thoughts on this collection. And my look. Is there something I MUST take a look at? Whatcha thank?
Ciao chicas! Stay beautiful!

A Tag & Port Red
My Foundation: N/A…no foundation for meeee.
My Mascara: Yall know I am constantly reviewing them but the one I adore right now is….catch the review next Monday!
My Blush: Fashion Fair Warm Sand and MAC Sweet as Cocoa.
My Eye Shadow: MAC’s Vanilla pigment. I swear it looks gorgeoussss.
My Day Cream: I wear Olay Complete.
My Lipstick: MAC’s 3D and now, Port Red!
My Beauty Product Brand: MAC Cosmetics, Milani, NARS, L’Oreal, etc.
My Essential Beauty Product: I really don’t leave the house without eyeliner.
My Favorite Makeup Product: Blush, it really tuns a simple look into glam.
My Perfume: Unforgettable for Women by Sean Combs.
My Nails: China Glaze! Currently dappin' in the WOW collection.
My Feet: A Mr. Pumice Bar every night, Vaseline with socks to bed.
My Hands: Some Avon lotion.
Three Products to bring on a deserted island: MAC's lip conditioner, a good sun block (you know, SPF 70, hehe) and a blend of olive oil and rosemary---for the face & hair.
Woman I admire for their beauty: Iman, Tia Williams, Angela Bassett, my Mom, Jill Scott
Woman with the Best Sense of Style: Don’t know. Not really up on what people are wearing.
My Ultimate Dream: To help as many people as I can.
How Do I Define Womanhood: I can show you better than I can tell you.
My Favorite Fashion Publication: Some UK piece. Can’t remember the name. It’s a wonderful fashion mag for Black women.
I was on my way to work and was tempted to try on that new Port Red lipstick from MAC's Naughty Nauticals collection. So I dropped my lunch box and purse on the floor and ran to my bathroom where the beauty of all lipsticks lay in my traincase. I lined my lips with Nightmoth and applied Port Red. I was floored with how beautiful it looks. The subtle gold specks really bring some "umph" to the overall color of Port Red. I am in love with this. And yep, it is a TRUE red. What I love about it is how it isn't a deep red. Deep reds tend to make me really look like somebody's 40 year old Momma. And yall know what I'm talkin' about....hehehe.
So dig the little photo shoot I had in the car. I was careful about it, I promise. I also tried to show pictures in different lightning so you can really get an idea of how Port Red looks. *insert British voice* I was a bit giddy in these pics, chaps but I had a jolly good time. And you'll have to enlarge for a better view. Photbucket was on the trips today, mannnn.
My brows are really crackin' me up. Goin' to get them threaded tomorrow. I can't express how much I love this color.
What do you think?
Yay or nay to Port Red?
.....what' s your take on darker skinned ladies wearin' red lippies?

MAC's Dazzleglass
I don’t know ‘bout yall, but I am a serious lip gloss, girl. I don’t wear it as often as I used to (I’m trying to become a mature woman so I’m into lipsticks, ha!) but I still have some obsession with a good gloss. MAC's Dazzleglass never really intrigued me right away but being the MAC addict, that I am...I still had to check it out.

Dazzleglass…..I gotta give it props. At $16.50, MAC Cosmetics defines these babies as “High-shine + large particle quartz and opal crystal captured in a great new formula with light-reflecting, crystalline iridescence. Umm, so what does that mean in laymen (or women , ha!) terms? Just that it’s a pretty shiny gloss. Is it tacky? Yeeep. Is it lightweight? Hmmm, not quite. Does it have a better staying power than Lipglass or Lustreglass? YES!!! I absolutely love how long this gloss stays on. Longer than the average gloss I’ve worked with.
Do I think it’s necessary to haul more than one? No, but that may just me being cheap. In my eyes, a gloss is a gloss. $16.50 is already a stretch for ONE so I can’t imagine hauling more than that. To prevent myself from even being tempted to purchase more than one, I picked the one Dazzlegass that caught my eye, swatched it, purchased it and walked away.
Let me introduce you to “Get Rich”.

So I decided to pair it with a lipstick. Here is MAC's 3D lipstick worn alone.

I can dig it. Not super impressed but again, the staying power of these babies are really what turn me on. What are your thoughts on Dazzleglass? Pass or a must have?
Let a sista know!

FOTD Friday

EYES (all MAC unless otherwise noted):
Base: Artifact Paint pot (applied with finger)
Pink Pearl pigment (applied with 242)
Carbon eyeshadow ( applied with 224 and 222)
Vanilla pigment (applied with 275)
Blacktrack Fluid line (applied with 266)
Styli Style eye liner
MAC Prep N Prime Mascara
Maybelline Great Lash mascara
FACE:
Olay Complete Moisture Lotion
Burt’s Bees Herbal Blemish Stick
LIPS:
Lollipop Loving lipstick
Beaux Lustreglass

I’m lovin’ how this looks. It is a bit loud for me. Which is funny because when I first got into make-up, I had no problem rockin’ crazy colors. But now I am more into subtle and professional looks. But Pink Pearl pigment is definitely one that I am glad I added to the collection. If I had more time I would have played around with the middle of the lid adding Nocturnelle or some other pretty purple color. I absolutely adore purples!! But I love Fridays even more!
It’s Friday, bayyyybeeeeee!!!

I'm learning...
I'm feeling so down still about this whole "make-up" thing. I'm trying to figure out if I should get serious SERIOUS about it or keep it a little hobby. I don't feel like I'm good enough. And I know I need to practice to get better but....I don't know.
Anyway.
Look at Joy. How pretty is she make-up less?We went to MAC in Mode....MAC in Mode is a technique class that MAC Cosmetics sometimes hold. It is open to the public and free.....well, there is an assumed rule that you're going to spend at least $50 worth of MAC Cosmetics. And I think you should....these make-up artists spend 3 hours teaching you some tricks. I think it's the least we can do.
This makes my 3rd. Went to one in Tallahassee and one in Tampa) and boyyy did we learn A LOT! This was Joy's time actually putting on make-up! She was such a virgin and left a serious lover of not only make-up but MAC Cosmetics.
The make-up artists were very nice and helping us in our make-up application and taught us about their skincare products. They are shocked that I knew that there is caffeine in Fix + and how holiday set brushes are machine made and regular brushes are handmade. At one point I shut the hell up because I felt too much like a snobby know-it all. But some of the ladies weren't on point with their information so some of them , I think....need to stroll on over to Specktra. HA!
I ended up purchasing (out of obligation because I really wasn't diggin' the holiday sets.....until today when I realized I want one!):
Fibre Rich Mascara *insert upset smiley here*
Strobe Cream.....it's aight. Too damn much for how much you get but it's decent.
And #7 fake lashes. I like them, I like them!!
....I think I'm okay with purchasing for awhile. I'm back at work and can't play around as much as I want to but I'm doing what I can.
I'm learning.
Oh....and here's a picture of how I look today. I don't look EXACTLY like that but the make-up is the same. Eyeliner and mascara...and I'm busting the StudioTech today with a Vanilla highlight and a little blush. Yay!!
P.S.
I want the 187 face brush sooooo bad. But damn, $42!!! I could buy my students at least 30 books from a discounted book store for that much. See....my humanitarianism pulls on my make-up obsession. I hate that!

Mi'Lady
So of course, most obsessed MAC fans know that the Antiquitease collection as dropped. I can't say enough how much I love living in LA (and probably for this reason alone) because they have 2 MAC counters, a store and a PRO store in a 10-mile radius. So fortunate. I stay goin' to the PRO store in West Hollywood because they have the best customer service and of course they get new collections a week earlier.
So I played around a bit and Mi'Lady's beauty caught my attention. Some of the other colors did but I was realllly likin' this one. So I purchased the damn thing only to
find out it has waaay too many sparkles for me. I'm not a fan of sparkles and glitter on the eyes. Hence the reason why I don't even look at Swimming e/s anymore. Glitter bothers me!
But I played around with it a bit and put the colors on top of Artifact paint pot. Still not likin' it. The colors blend well together but....I don't think it's for me. A little disappointed too because I've thrown away my box and receipt so I can't return it.
And yes, my application is a bit messy because I was just experimenting. Maybe Mi'Lady will be one of those colors that I grow to love.

Eyelashes and skin
Soooo, for once in my make-up life, I actually stuck went to the mall and swiped exactly what I said I was going to swipe. That's the first. I tend to loose my damn mind in Sephora, but yesterday I only got the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. However....on my way out, I took a peek at fab NARS blushes and I'm not too big on Crazed.
A lot of ladies in the Beauty of Color forum on Specktra.net seem to think that
Crazed (NARS defines this color as a Raspberry red with shimmer) is just absolutely fab. A little too pigmented for my dark skin, I think. And far too pink.
However, I so fell in love with Outlaw (defined as rose with shimmer). I think that may be my next purchase. But really no purchasing of any more blushes until I learn how to correctly apply. Ohhh, I love NARS. Why oh why is that brand so f-ing expensive?
.....okay, I've gone on a tangent once again. I'm diggin' the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. It's still giving me a crimp and not a curl but not nearly as bad as the others ones do.
And I loooove my MAC green gel cleanser. It is really clearing up my skin something wonderful. And not too drying. I'm excited about that. Bad skin really depresses me.
I've also gotten Fix + coming to me in the mail via a Specktra sale. Can't wait to play around with that!

Smoke Signals & Blue Storm
Okayyy, so I didn't think I'd be too into some the newest MAC lines but I actually was. Now I wasn't a fan of the quads....I don't really know how to do smoky eyes but I'm going to learn anyway. I have a class at MAC tomorrow to learn how to do it correctly.

Yellows and a Neuty
Hi beautiful faces!
Before I introduce my reviews and looks, I have to mention that MAC Pro has launched some gorgeous new colors. They are more along the C-Shock line: bright, vibrant and highly pigmented colors. I am in love with them all but unfortunately when I went to the PRO store in Orlando, they only had one of the ones I wanted. Let me introduce you kids to:
Yesss...another yellow. If you're like me and have found zero success in Chrome Yellow and Canary Yellow, this is it! MAC has done it. This yellow is magnificent. It is highly pigmented even without a base---so imagine how it looks WITH one. Now I know some of us may not be BIG on yellows...it's not exactly a color that you'd want to wear everyday, but I'm looking to have a rather diverse traincase---and that includes non-traditional colors. Not to mention, neglecting to own colors like this feeds to the idea that darker skinned women can't wear bright colors and I KNOW that ain't true.
(1) Urban Decay Primer Potion
(2) Gentil Lentil Shadestick
(3) Bamboom Paint
....and (4) is no base at all.
Hmmm....and since w
e're on this new launch of fab colors, let's talk about one more. Blue Clam...similar to Electric Eeel but BETTER is a look I had done on me by one of the make-up artists. Aside from falling in love with this handsome cat, he also used
the Delft Paint Pot (okay....these are FAB!). I don't have a great close up but this is the finished product...me in all of my silliness. So yes...I encourage you folx....who are into the bright colors to check out MAC Pro's new line. I think you'll fall in love just like I did. However, a lot of the great colors are already sold out so I guess us unfortunate non MAC Pro membership folx are outta luck, uh? So sad....I'm tryna get a membership myself. LOL, somehow!!
What I have here is:
-Woodwinked on lid
-Antiqued on crease and lightly blended up
-Vanilla pigment on crease
The MAC in 3D Wondershine has a dark brown lip liner from Jordana (my favorite cheapo brand) but I was considering puchasing a Lipglass liner....but who knows. How the freak are you supposed to sharpen those mofos? I love the color nonetheless and am going to go check out some more today.
And Reno, mama....this Wondershine close up is for you. You said it was TOO bright, but don't let the color of these MAC 3D lippies fool you. They look bright in the their bottles, but they really are very sheer. But sheer enough to where it shows up. And I'm workin' on snappin' shots of my baby traincase so you can see what I'm "workin' wit" (lol)---but it ain't much so don't be shocked. And MAC Pro stores.....nothing less than heaven. It's amazing! Peace and pigments, loves!
....oh and have I mentioned how uploading pics on Blogger is AWFUL! Am I the only one who has these problems?

Paint, brushes, Flashtronic
Greetings to whoever is reading this randomness of mine.
I purchased my first paint. The picture you see is not the same color as the one I picked up, so don't get confused. I purchased Bamboom. It's a great "neutral" look for my NW45 lids. I'm still working on how to apply it though. The make-up artist said use some number brush, but I'm not droppin' $30 on no brush no time soon, lol....so I use a concealer brush from Target for $1.99 that uhhh....works very nice.
I almost purchased Flashtronic lipglass but then I realized it's the same thing....or something simliar to jelly babe, except it has a little more shimmer. And then I realized that spending that much money on lip stuff is a mess. But that's just my opinion. I splurge on eye stuff, but good and cheap lip chap (lol!!) can be found anywhere!ht
Sooo as I'm sure MAC addicts know, Novel Twist stuffs dropped at Nordstrom's on the 20th. I checked out the colors but was realllly considering getting the brush set. There are 2. One is a basic set and the other, professional. I talk a lot of trash about spending a ton of money on brushes...buuuut, I may cop the basic brush set. My wonderful Targe Sonia Kash(whatever the name is) brushes and watercolor paint brushes have not failed me yet, but maybe I'm falling into the "cause it's MAC" mentality. Especially that 224 blending brush. I may get it. The entire set is only $48. A 224 brush alone costs $28! So this really is a deal. Hmmm....should I?At my friend's surprise birthday party. I had on a black shirt, but was bored, so hooked up my eyes up with some Firespot, Cranberry and Vex. The eyelashes are popping thanks to that Loreal Telescopic mascara! Wooooot!

Yesss, I never ever am normal when taking pictures. I can't just smile and move on. I always have to do something silly. This was at a club and I have over 5 colors goin' on here. If you look, the shirt that I'm wearing isn't exactly color-less. So I tried to play up all of the colors from it.

OMG...
Creative title there, uh?
Okayyyy, so I guess it's time for a new post. I've had an awesome weekend with great friends! I'm trying to live up my life here in Tampa because I'm moving to LA for AmeriCorps in September and *tear*....I doubt anyone will visit me since it's so far.
Well, I am happy to announce that I did not purchase any make-up products this weekend! This is considered a good thing because I'm broke! LOL! I'm moving out of my apartment and putting things in storage and funds are realllly very low right now, so I've been staying away from Specktra's For sale forums and...
...oh wait, I did buy some mascara at Target, but guess what? It was on sale! $4.99. Regularly $7.99.
It's the Loreal Telescopic mascara that my lovely Ms. Riss raved about. I can see why! This is some great stuff! It's actually better than the Loreal Voluminous. I mean, really....my eyelashes are out of this world! I loved it so much that I didn't even feel the need to put on any make-up. Just the mascara, some eye liner and my MAC jellybabe. It's so hotness! Get up on it!
Sooo...in other news,
I copped
the MAC Firespot from the Moonbathe line and I'm in love with flippin' color. It's insanely beautiful! I tried it on a friend of mine who is NC45 with some Cranberry and Vex and it was fire! HOTTTT!!! Just "Ehhh...." on me. Gotta keep playing around with it. It's just such a wonderful color for my collection. I'm excited about it. But I'm not too hip on ordering MAC products over the phone or online to be mailed to me. It took entirely TOO long and shipping was too expensive. I'll only do that if I HAVE to.
Best friend tells me that Ulta is having this crazy cool sale on Urban Decay Primer Potion (buy 2, get 1 free) and some other goodies... I say check it out. I'm so blessed. A Sephora, Ulta, MAC, and Nordstrom's in the SAME city? All of which I JUST discovered in 3 months? LOL, I'm so spoiled. Oh wait...I've found the link. The sale is going on until August 4. Yesss!! I should have at least 2 paychecks by then!
3 random pics of me and then I'm out.....but WAIT....you haven't lived until you've checked out this online boutique. I'm not even lying. Shoes for $9.99? Hot jewelry for $.99? Thanks Black Pearls for showing this one. Great another addiction: online boutiques. Freakin' A!
Peace and pretty faces!
I so need a better focus. LOL!!
One of my favorite looks: Arabian Lights....so gorgeous!
Amberlights/Cranberry/Vex
Chuckin' the deuces at cha....whatever that means!

Dark Grapes
I don't know how I'm doing so many updates. Things have been slow at my job, so I've had the time. I created a new look yesterday called Dark Grapes. It was all in good fun. Check it out:
Okay, so here it is with opened eyes.
:

Craziness, riiiight? But I like it! I really do. I was initially just doing the eyes, but I was like, "What the hell..." and dabbed some Grape pigment on the lips for fun.

But I have to admit....I like it. I was bored last night while packing up my apartment and started playing around. Damn shame that I have to get in the car to take pics with my cell phone. LOL, I know I'm a mess.
But I do believe this is an interesting look. I didn't go anywhere with it on....the Purple lips is a bit too much for. The eyes---perhaps, but the lips. Ummm, I ain't THAT bold.
I used:
UDPP (my BFF!)
Milani Shock
MAC Nocturnelle
MAC Grape pigment
MAC Vanilla pigment
MAC Trax
MAC Platinum pigment
MAC Blitz&Glitz fluidline
MAC Stud brow pencil
Loreal Volumious mascara
Revlon Colorstay eyeliner
Jordana dark brown lip pencil
Burts Bee's lip balm (or lip chap like Saaphyri says!!!)
MAC Who's That Lady lip gelee
That's a helluva lot, uh? I didn't do any StudioFix and will continue to not wear face make-up for awhile. My skin is looking a lot better and I think it's because my disuse of StudioFix.
Tis it for now.

Greenvious! (pics)
Hi gorgeous people!
I've been wonderful in the make-up department. Just doing as much learning, research and practicing as I can. I can still work on my blending, but it's getting better since I now I have a blending brush! Yessss!! In fact, I've gotten quite a few goodies since I last made an entry. I got:
-Sonia Kashku (however you spell it) brushes....I love them!!
-Black tied....via Specktra sale
-Cranberry....via Specktra sale
-Loreal HIP black gel liner. It's GREAT! Just as good as MAC's. And I got it for only $4.99
-Milani's Antique Gold. Interesting color
-Rimmel teal liquid liner....just for fun and crazy looks
-Milani liquid liner. This is what I used before Fluidlines. I got it again to do a crazy cat eye look.
So I think I've done pretty well at fulfilling my make-up wish list which is getting smaller and smaller. I've also ordered 9 pigment samples via Specktra. I can't wait until they arrive!!
Today I'm bustin' green and decided to do some green eyes. Something I've never done.....I used Eyepopping on the inner lid and Swimming on outer lid. And of course Vex everywhere else. Vex and Trax have become my favorite colors of all time because they are subtle, yet you can still seem them. Here's the look that I call:
And of course....you're gonna need some close ups, riiiiight?
Close dem eyes, guuuuuurl.....
And of course you need a full face look even though there's too much light in this one.
I think I like the green look. I have another one called "Scream Green" but this to me is more fun. Scream Green is defintely an after-dark look. My face is still a HOT mess, ehhh....but whatever. Day 9 of my fast and it has been clearing up but not as much as I'd like it to. I'll be patient. Still not wearing too much Studio Fix. I've only worn it twice in a week and a half.
Also, to those of you who have make-up blogs, please let me know so that I can add you to a list. Some list.....I don't know how to make this Blogger stuff all pretty. But I'll figure it out one day. I really enjoy reading some of you all's things. It is really helping me.
Peace and have a Happy 4th (even though this is THEIR America....lol, sorry, that's my Radical rant! Got a whole 'notha blog for that!)

Bangin Resume & Brows (pics)
I have never seen my eyebrows look so good! Correction.....eyeBROW. I only perfected one. The other came out okay, but not as good as the first one. I'm somewhat proud of myself. And of course, I don't have a "GOOD" quality pic to show of it (damn, I need to invest in another digital camera) but I have somethin'....
Yesterday I did a look that I called Bangin' Resume. I had 2 meetings yesterday and was wearing a blue dress shirt, but didn't want to do blue eyes. Nor did I want to do Doxical or some other boring neutral look. I wanted something nice---with some spice.
So along came---Bangin' Resume which is nice enough to wear to work with an added kick. Of course the quality of this one isn't the best either, but I'm sure you get the gist:
Of course you have to enlarge to get a better view. Not bad, eh? The colors used were:
Coppering on 1/4 of lid
Trax everywhere else
It came out pretty nice. I got a lot of compliments. My skin is slowly getting better. Day 5 of my fast and I'm energized and feelin' great. I'm wearin' a C-Shock look that I'm not gonna post pics of b/c I don't feel too proud. My blending isn't THAT good. People say they like it but ehhh.....I could have done better. I need a blending brush man. :( I really do.

Redssss (pics)
Greetings beautiful people!
So I went to MAC on Monday and remember how I was supposed to return Ricepaper and Orange? Ummm, I so didn’t. I instead exchanged them for Mythology and Eyepopping. I loooove both! I didn’t have the chance to play around with Eyepopping yet, but I’m in love with it. Why wasn’t I before, ZDazzle?
Hmmm, well, I’m on Day 3 of my fast and it has been the biggest challenge of my life. Seriously. Try not eating for 10 days in attempts to take better control of your eating habits and lifestyle. IT has been life-changing and I am considering a vegetarian diet (which I’ve done before and failed) after this cleanse. And I know it’s doing wonders for my skin, which I’ve mentioned before is going haywire.
I purchased 2 colors via Specktra----Black Tied and Cranberry. Chick only charged me $12, so I hope they are in decent condition.
I’m getting my eyebrows threading today or tomorrow and will have a defined arch that will help me play with my brow structuring better. Yessss!
I tried a look today. The quality is terrible, but I think you get the idea:
The colors here are:
Mythology (lid)
Coppering (crease)
Vex (brow)
…..nothing spectacular. I didn’t pack it on too much because I already have a red shirt, red flower and red earrings on and didn’t want to overdo it. No name for this one. Don’t plan on re-creating it…just something to do. And I defintely plan on purchasing some NARS or Urban Decay reds. I really like theirs.
I’m still not wearing any StudioFix and probably won’t until after my fast. Give my skin a chance to breathe, replenish and rejuvenate.
Taking your advice ZDazzle and going to invest in some pigments. Sample ones, fa sho. I don’t really know how to work with them, so Imma need to have a make-up artist show me how to do that.
And another question…is there a difference in size between regular pans and pro pans? How do you know what you have? Hmm….
Out for now. I’m going to play around with some C-Shock tomorrow for my friend’s Passion Party. So hopefully I’ll have pics for that.
Peace and Kohl Pencils.

Photo-less Thoughts
No pics today....although my eyes look absolutely beautiful (if I must say so myself...LOL).
I'm wearin' a turquoise shirt and so I've got on 3 colors....Big T, _____ and Vex. I really can't remember the other color. Oh wait, Shimmermoss, maybe? Yeah...I think I have Shimmermoss and NOT Big T.
Hell, I don't know. LOL....they look pretty good nonetheless.
I purchased 3 more colors.....went to the Ellenton outlet and was semi-impressed. Not much, but enough. I looked at my collection and realized that I have waaaay too many blues/teals. I have at least 5. That's enough. I want more wines/reds/pinks and definitely some CRAZY colors. So I'm thinkin'....
Eyepopping (thanks to ZDazzle!)
Fab & Flashy (I have Orange, but I'm returning it....)
Chrome Yellow
Black Tied (Always wanted a Black e/s)
....some more purples. I have Nocturnelle and LOVE it, but I want at least 2 more. ZDazzle, what do you suggest? I saw yo Color Purple pics!
.......and then I want some nice golds/neutral colors.
I'm so not sticking to my make-up wish list that I made for myself. Oh well....
Did swatches of colors on my Gentil shadestick and they came out lovely. What a great shadestick!! I would rather not invest money on tons of shadesticks b/c mine seems to work well with the colors I have now.....and UPDD does not ever fail me.
Ummm, what else? So I figured out another way to maximize my collection without going bankrupt: Buy used products. Well, used shadows, at least. Some folx sell their brand new/gently used items on Specktra for cheaper prices. That's right up my alley.
I'm fasting for the next 10 days and I'm hoping that it will clear up my skin. It honestly has NEVER looked this bad. I don't know what's goin' on. I'm getting dark spots out of no where and such unevenness. I'm drinking as much water as I can and have high hopes that this detox/fast will help me in the skin department.
'Tis all.
Peace and Fluidlines.

Blue & Passion (pics)
Wooooop! I'm excited because I got some new colors. *doin' a dance* So excited. It's about time because it had been a long looong loooong almost 2-3 weeks since I've purchased my last color. So thrilled. So, here's what I got...
Orange (might be going back)
Ricepaper (also might be going back)
Big T
Romping
Nocturnelle
Coopering
.....and I purchased some color from Milani that is similar to Firespot.
.....no one has Firespot and I'm sooo saddened because I REALLY want it.
So yeah, I don't like how Orange feels....doesn't go too well on my eyes and Ricepaper (WTF was I thinking?) I went a little overboard so instead of exchanging them, I may return them. IF I have THAT much will power....which I doubt I do.
--------Oh, wait. I also got an eyebrow pencil with Milani that is wonderful!! I'm doing so much better with my eyebrows!!!!----------
So I tried 2 new looks which I've named Blue and Passion. The quality of the pics are terrible because I used my camera phone, so please beware---for some reason the enlargement of these pics make my face look like HELL. I'm not even lyin'.....my skin ain't as good as it normally is, but it certainly doesn't look as terrible as the damn Sidekick makes it seem.
So......the colors from Blue are all MAC colors which include:
-Electric Eel on lid
-Tilt on crease
-Vex on browbone (yall know I love my Vex up there)
.....this was a BOLD, in yo face....."check out the chick with the loud ass blue eyeshadow on" kinda look. And of course, I rocked it, loved it, felt confident, got compliments, and smiled at the hatas alllll at the same time. For some reason, I really don't care what people think about my eyeshadow. I got some funny looks yesterday, but I shrugged it off and came strollin' anyway.
Not too bad, uh? Here's a pic with closed eyes....
Here's a full face pic:
Now remember......my skin is NOT THAT BAD! I have to keep reiterating it because enlarging this picture depresses me. LOL!!
Anyway.....Passion's colors include:
Big T-inner V
Swimming-middle
Romping-outer V (I freakin' love this damn color!!!!!)
Nocturnelle (liner)
Amberlights-crease
Vex (you know it.....browbone)
....
