Rock Teva At Your Next Music Festival – #ReadyToRoo

This post brought to you by Teva. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many Floridians say that flip flops are the unofficial shoe of Florida. Okay, so this may be true. I rock the flops hard while at the beach, but you certainly won’t catch me wearing them y’know…to trips to the store, out and about with the family and certainly not after dark. A girl has to maintain some kind of classiness and hey, flip flops don’t always align with the word “classy”.

The good news is, the brand Teva has a slew of comfortable and trendy sandals that are more than just your cheap pair of flops. Since 1984 Teva has been aspiring people everywhere to take your shoes…everywhere. There aren’t any limits for where you can wear Teva. You can sang a pair from Zappos and before you know it, you and your feet will be ready to take on the world. My favorite pair?

Teva has been the official footwear sponsor of the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Okay, so I’ve never been and probably won’t make it this year, but I looooove a good music festival. I love everything from the atmosphere, to the weather, closeness you feel with strangers and well, yeah…the music. There aren’t any real rules on how to experience a music festival (well, aside from all of the illegal stuff) but if I had to school a newbie, I’d drop these 3 tips with ‘em.

  • Read the schedule
  • Bring comfy blankets, chairs or towels.
  • Have cash on you.

I know you may be a fan of those acts, but who wants to stand for a good 3 hours waiting for them to hit the stage? No way, José. And always have a few dollars on you as many of the food and swag vendors don’t take cards. I would love to hear some of your music festival tips! And while you’re at it, follow #ReadyToRoo to get more music festival tips and tricks. Or…visit The Fountain!

For My Shoes Lovers: Marshall’s Has Us Covered!

This sponsored post is brought to you by Marshall’s via Glam Network and if you know anything about me and shoes, you know that I can only wear “certain” kinds. Okay, yeah – so I’m not stompin’ in orthopedic Granny shoes just yet but my flat feet have made it so that I can’t be bothered to strut in heels too often. That doesn’t stop me from lookin’ though. Girl no…

Gotta love how Marshall’s has those designer shoes for discounted prices. I copped an adorable pair of summery wedges before Esposo and I went to the Bahamas. And I got ‘em for the low loooow. Love it!

Are you a shoe girl?

These feet were made for walkin’…but comfortably.

It’s a well known Clumps of Mascara fact, that I am NOT a fan of heels. And not because I don’t want to be stylin’ and profilin’ and standin’ close to 6-feet tall in heels that elongate my legs. But let’s face it, heels are not meant to be comfortable. Prolonged wear of ‘em can’t possibly be good for our toes, feet, ankles and legs. And because of that, I like to rock comfortable and cute flats and sandals as often as I can.

Johnson’s Challenge: Baby Powder in my shoes!

There is a reason why my running shoes are making an appearance on Clumps. Just give me a second to explain. Okay, so remember I was tellin’ y’all that I was participating in the Johnson’s Challenge? Wellll…I’ve been coming up with alternative ways (in addition to stealing some of the great ones in the comments ;)) to use the baby powder, lotion, gel and and body wash.

And how to my stinky shoes come in to play? Hit the jump to see!

Dr. Scholl’s Fast Flats are All a’That!

I have never been a girl who loves heels. I can’t even pretend like I do. I was the lucky one to get the flat feet gene (thanks Dad) and wearing anything outside of flats or tennis shoes results in some kind of pain. Heels especially. But wearing those things are inevitable. I have to rock them to work, church, meetings and fancy functions. But mannnn, I SO want to hug whoever invented these Fast Flats.

Fold-able flats that can fit in my purse? Oh…yes.
