Visiting Walt Disney World While 37 Weeks Pregnant

I’ve done a lot of crazy things in my life. From spontaneously moving across the country to marrying a dude I met off of the internet and eating my placenta, I rarely shock myself anymore. My friends are used to this and often laugh at my antics. When I came up with the idea to take Elle on a “Almost Big Sister” trip to Walt Disney World while pregnant, no one tried to stop me.And they should have.

Walt Disney World at Fall

Because that was by far the craziest thing that I’ve ever done. No overly pregnant woman should be waddling around Walt Disney World. But this post isn’t about why you shouldn’t do it. I’m going to highlight our up’s and great experiences while casually noting how much BETTER they could have done if I weren’t so you know…pregnant.

Around Orlando: The Clumps sisters take over Disney World

A few weeks ago, I spontaneously went to Disney World with my sisters Courtney and Imani. I say spontaneously because while some of you spend months and years planning a  trip to Disney, it only took me like…an hour. Crazy, uh? Living in one of the tourist capitals of the world has its benefits. I didn’t take too many pictures because I was too busy acting like a child but we had so much fun.

Courtney has watched one too many episodes of America’s Next Top Model. Haaaa!

I look at my youngest sister Imani and I’m like…how in the world did she grow up so fast? How is she in 7th grade already?

They forced me to take these pictures.

*squeals* Walking through this part of Magic Kingdom brings back so many memories.

I swear I could stare at this castle allllll day.

Splash Mountain. The ride that I used to love but will probably throw up my guts if I got on now.

Don’t laugh. This ride is the best.

More pretty pictures of the castle…

You haven’t seen a crowd until you’ve seen one at Disney World.

It’s madness. But a blissful madness. I hope to take another trip this year with Mama Clumps. I haven’t been to Disney World with my Mommy since….I can’t even remember when. Plus, if I take her, she’ll pay for everything. 8) I kid, I kid.

A little….

20+ Years of Lovin’ Disney

I’m the biggest Disney fan ever. And I do mean ever. If a Disney movie came out in the 90’s, chances are I know all of the words to the songs. I’ve been to both Disney World in Florida and Disney Land in California. I love Disney so much that I’m considering getting married (you know, after the whole proposal thing) at the Disney Wedding Pavilion. I recently went to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and took a few pictures.

Hit the jump, fellow Disney lovers!

Around Orlando: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Guess who went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time? Meeeee! As a Florida native, I’ve spent a lot at the Disney theme parks. And I am pleased to announce that they are just as much fun as an adult as they were when I was a kid. That doesn’t say much coming from a big kid like myself but humor me, will ya?

Even visiting one of the many gorgeous Disney resorts is an experience. I mean, where else can you go take a peek outside of your hotel room and see giraffes only a few feet from you?

Hit the jump to see why you may want to consider booking your next family trip at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
