Girl, listen. Can we have a chat? You know, sister to sister? Let me keep it real with you. You don’t mind, do you? It’s a struggle. By “it”, I mean…almost everything. I look at where my life was 5, 6 and 7 years ago and I chuckle at how I used to complain about the little things. I wouldn’t mind some of those stresses now. I’d trade them for my current ones in a heartbeat.
But now wait a minute. This post isn’t on how terrible my life is because it is far from terrible. But it isn’t easy. Yeah, I know you think I’ve got it all together. HA! Excuse me while I laugh at you because…no ma’am. Like, I said…I am struggling to hold on to me. Having a second child means even less time to myself. I’m pretty good at this newborn’ing thing by now. But what I’ll never get used to is forgetting about me.
Amopé is helping me remember this and that’s why I am head over heels in love with their Pedi Perfect Wet & Dry Electronic Cordless Foot File. Don’t get to scoffing. This thing is fantastic. Especially for someone who hasn’t had a professional pedicure in…oooooh, it has been awhile.
That’s the thing about doing so much for other people. You forget about you. I don’t care how many people depend on me, I can’t pour into them unless my tank is full. And for me, nothing fill my tank more than self-love and the occasional alone time.
And giiiiiiiirl, what better way to do this than pampering your feet? I mean, honestly…taking care of the feet seriously makes my entire body feel transformed. I can’t be the only one that feels this way, am I? There’s just something so incredibly renewing about a pedicure. And if I can only do one at home, shoot…I’ll take it. You’ll see more detailed posts from me about the wonders of this Amopé Foot File but for now, know that I am dedicated to doing more for myself. In fact, if I can commit myself to doing at least 1 pedicure every week, I say we’re on a roll.
Let this be a lesson to you, my loves. No one is as important for you than you. Losing yourself and forgetting your importance should never happen. Easier said than done, I know but come on…join me and do some weekly pedicures, will you? A happy me makes for a happy household so hey, I think it’s worth the investment, don’t you?
Speaking of investment, the Amopé Pedi Perfect goes for $69.99 and you can scoop it up here. This baby will pay for itself after 2-3 uses because it is still so much cheaper than regularly going to get a pedicure. Hang on to your happy, sisters. I am right there with you.
For more information about Amopé products, visit their website and follow them on Facebook. Meanwhile, I’ll be working on getting my feet as soft as this dude’s feet.
Do you pamper yourself regularly?

Thanks for posting! I need to try this my feet are so gross.
Haha, sounds like it may be time to treat yourself, mama. 😉
I always want to pick this up when I see it but haven’t yet. Beach season is around the corner so I need to go ahead and grab one.
Please do! I think you’ll love it! 😉
Need this for my hobbit feet!!
OMG, that made me snort!
OMG, will this give me baby soft feet like the ones in the last picture?!
I’m so sporadic with self-care. I need to get better at it. Love this, sounds perfect for an at home spa day.
I don’t have kids or a husband but I fail to take time for myself or pamper myself the way that I should. I am just now starting to get back into the groove of caring for my skin.

My Mom has the PedEgg version of this and the wheel is very rough on the feet, granted mine need the roughness but I never seen any actual results from it. I may have to finally bite the bullet and spend the money on this! I don’t really “self-care” that much, but tonight would be the perfect night to do it..if only it wasn’t 1am
