For someone who lives in Florida, I am not a fan of summer. Summers in Florida are actually pretty miserable. Unless, of course, you live on the beach. And if you live on the beach during hurricane season, well….yeah.
I mean, don’t get me wrong. I love living in this crazy state. But those temps that take your breath away the second you step outside, that’s for your tourists. But I can get behind a summer nail polish collection. They are always full of bright reds, pinks and oranges. We get blues that remind you of the sea and mints and fantastic purples.
This China Glaze Summer Reign nail polish collection might actually get me in the spirit.
Don’t get excited. I said MIGHT.
Summer Reign is a blue toned purple that has a semi-matte finish. You absolutely need this shade in your life. You.need.it.
I Truly Azure You is a bright jewel toned blue. It screams beaches of Turks And Caicos.
High Standards is a luxe and classy gold. Golds don’t really work for me but this is a solid one because it’s pretty opaque with just one coat.
Rose My Name is a pretty standard berry wine pink with micro neon shimmer. It’s pretty but we’ve seen a lot of shades like this before.
Flame-Boyant is insane. You won’t find a brighter orange-red than this. It is almost neon and will be my pedicure color for years to come. I love it!
All Glammed Up is a mint blue/green. It’s a pretty creme but I’m not a fan of shades like this
Sunset Seeker is a juicy orange with a good amount of orange in that dries to a matte finish.
Simply Flaw-Blue-Less is such a pretty royal blue jelly. If you’re okay with visible nail lines this will rock your world.
Emerald Bae reminds me so much of OPI’s Jade Is The New Black. It’s a dusty emerald that will look on against anyone’s skin. However, it stains like mad. Put down a base coat if you use this one.
Sun-Set The Mood is such a pretty neon pink. It wasn’t as streaky as most. I love it! My application for this one just wouldn’t be great. It was a little watery.
Chroma Cool is a silver polish. Not amazing but if you one, this is a good one.
Sultry Solstice is a neon orange. It’s incredibly streaky and takes a good 3 coats to achieve an opaque finish.
You can find these babies anywhere China Glaze polishes are sold. My favorite? Sultry Solstice and Summer Reign are suuuuch must haves!
