You know those women who spent a great chunk of their girlhood wanting to be Moms? That wasn’t me, y’all. I’m not even going to sit here and pretend that “Be A Mom” was on my list of things to do while adulting. People freak out when you admit this kind of stuff because it may sound like I don’t want to be a Mom, but come oooon, my kids are too awesome to deny.
I don’t flood my social media accounts with pictures of my kids, but have you seen even a glimpse of these beings? They’re gorgeous and I could not be more proud to be their mother. But I’m sayin’…I totally didn’t expect this life of mommy’ing and I’m still shocked that we’re all semi-surviving. I thought parenting a toddler would send me running to the hills. Toddlers are craziness and it’s the most challenging part of parenting, so far.
Giving birth and the sleep exhaustion from newborn life is nothing compared to parenting a toddler. Some days I’d wake up and burst into tears because I feared what the day and EB’s craziness would bring.
This is real life, people. EB is all encompassing but she’s a gift. She’s a gem. She is a lioness and she is mine and I adore her. And my Bub. Bub consumes me and I’m amazed at how well he fits in our life. It sound so flippin’ cliche but it was like he has always been here. He fits so nicely in our puzzle. EB is obsessed with him and look, if you’re going to have kids close enough in age to dress them alike, then dress them alike you should.
They’re at the age where both participants either think it’s cute or can’t object and so I am all for matchy-matchy in cool baby clothes.
EB and Bub are rocking Navy Stripes Trousers/Leggings from Cute Little Babes. Que precioso, right? Cute Little Babes is a darling boutique in which the head mama in charge hand makes stylish and fashionable fits for newborns on up to your big kids wearing sizes 5 and 6. These fit both of them so well but I’m thinking I should have gotten a larger size to accommodate Bub’s cloth diaper.
Those things will sho nuff put junk in a baby’s trunk.
Gotta love supporting small businesses so I will definitely be keeping Cute Little Babes in mind when I want to style big sister and baby brother. Each pair of leggings will run you $20 which can be considered pretty pricey for kid clothes but hey, you get what you pay for – adorable and high quality fits for your cute little ones.
I let Elle pick out her own socks because again, this is real life. She’s a real kid who doesn’t care about matching. I’m totally okay with this. She’s also got a stain on her pants and shoot, whatever, y’all…
Soooo…what say you? Care to style your favorite little one in something stylish? Of course you do! Cute Little Babes is giving ONE Clumps of Mascara a $50 gift card so they too can be as fly as my babes.
You know it’s sad when your kids are already dressing better than you in 2016. Ha!!
*FTC Disclosure: The Clumps kids received these leggings for free but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
