Here’s the thing about growing up…
Don’t do it. Seriously, fight against it. I spent a great deal of my 20’s so incredibly anxious to be older. I wanted to be 21 so I could go to the cool clubs. I wanted to be 25 so I could rent a car. I wanted to be 30 because no one took 20-year olds seriously. Mannnnn, listen. SO dumb. I plan on being youthful for every y’all. Yeah, I know the dark circles under my eyes say otherwise but to hell with thinking I NEED to be a certain age.
I’m where I need to be and I’m going to be a big kid for as long as I live, y’all. And this is why I’m going giddy over this Disney Minnie Beauty By SEPHORA COLLECTION.
Can you EVEN?
I know, I know. Now there are 2 kinds of people in the world – Disney aficionados and everyone else. Even if you don’t get down with the Mouse, you can’t deny how gorgeous this collection is.
These press samples made their way to me shortly before the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and it took everything in me to not dive into it. I had to wait to take pretty pictures and now that I’ve done that, I can’t stop playin’.
Can we talk about my favorite product first?
This Perfect Red Lipstick ($15) is the only lipstick in the collection and giiiiiirl, it shines. It is indeed the PERFECT red and I’m just itching to swatch it. And I would except for…
Yeeeeeah. Mess up that pretty print? I think not. I mean, I’ll swatch it some day. But give me a few more days to stare lovingly at it. The headliner of the collection? I think it’s the Color Eyeshadow Palette ($45). It’s really a 2-in-1 product and I’ll show you how in a minute but first, just drool with me…

It’s pretty, right? But pretty means nothing and I was concerned that while it was pretty, it wouldn’t do so good in terms of pigmentation. Buuuuut…
Not bad, right? The quality of these shadows are surprisingly wonderful. You get several fabulous shades that can crank out day time and night time looks. You also get a beautiful black matte, which for me, is a staple for a bangin’ smokey eye. Okay, so cute, right?
But watch this…
You can remove the eye shadow and mirror slots and have just a clutch! Sweeeeet. I think it’s a great idea and the clutch is actually very cute and something you could use while out and about.
Something to put in that clutch? This sweet Compact Mirror ($26).
Expensive? Well, yeah…but this mirror screams LUXURIOUS, baby. It’s got some weight to it and it’ll make for a great conversation starter.
Probably toddler snatched, one of two of my Black & White Felt Eyeliner Duo ($20) pencils is missing. The black one! I’m left with a white one and while I don’t do a ton with white felt liners, I’m thinking a thin line on top of a black line on the lower lashline could be beautiful!
And lastly is the Brush Set ($58)…
She’s stunning. This is definitely an item that would make an excellent gift for the Disney AND beauty lover in your life. For folx (like me) that have 12,000 brushes? Okay, maybe not a good idea but I think it’s great that they have 5 really decent brushes that have a ton of uses.
The handles are nice and sturdy and I’m just so incredibly in love with how these feel and move. The brushes are pretty dense so if you’re a lover of softer brushes that have more give to them, these may not be up your alley.
Are you done drooling?
I think Sephora deserves a round of applause for giving us this wonderful collection that highlights an iconic character. So Sephora? Caaaaan we get some nail polishes, too? I’m asking for a friend. 😎💕
Are you a Disney lover or naw?
This is a really cute collection! I was so tempted to get the blush but I kept seeing so many mixed reviews that I decided to pass on it. However this is making me consider checking it out in person since the packaging is so pretty lol. If I didn’t already have a ton of shadows I would grab the palette too. Sephora and Disney did a great job with this collection!
I’m not sure about the blush either. But mannnn, it sure is pretty to look at. You’ve got to grab SOMETHING from this collection.
Really cute collection. That red lipstick looks so pretty. And the packaging is pretty awesome. I’m such a sucker for packaging
Holy crud this whole thing is so stinkin cute!! I love all of it!! Hope you find your other eyeliner 🙂
