My Makeup Wars girls are coming together again to share some of their favorite Go To beauty products. I’ve got a list, y’all. And I mean an incredibly lengthy list. Since I’m forever trying new products, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I probably have more Go To goodies than the average beauty lover.
But for the sake of time, I have chomped this list down to 5 items that I go to just about every day and use alllllll the time.
A lip balm
I’m really not picky in this department but said lip balm must NOT be Carmex (that stuff smells awful!) and must not contain petroleum. Ideally, something like Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment. I’m not leaving the house unless I’ve slathered my lippies with a balm.
Darshana Hair Oil
I’ve talked about it once. And I’ve talked about it twice. This is the BEST hair oil of all time. Before the end of 2014, I splurged on 2 more bottles and I am still slowly working my way through them. I love how this oil gets my hair healthy and shiny and it also makes as a fabulous all over oil.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel
I can’t believe that I haven’t featured this before but my lashes know of no better love than this stuff right here. Pretty pricey at $22, I know, but when an eyebrow gel can tackle your insanely swirly curly lashes, you buy that stuff in bulk, girl. Just sayin’…
Have you heard about this stuff? Ohmigoodness, one of my gal pals recommended it to me when I told them that I was suffering from ingrown hairs. Thanks to glorious genetics, I’ve been dealing with sprouting hairs on my chin. It’s between awful and terrible. A dab of this stuff on my chin does some magical goodness that helps eliminate ingrown hairs. It.is.fantastic. I use it twice a day to keep my beard at bay. Yeah, I said it. Wow, I have a beard. *tears*
I know it ‘s a trend ‘an everything but coconut oil really is great stuff. Mainly because it can be used alllllll over the body. Not a day goes by that I don’t use it on my self or on Elle. I massage her scalp and the the ends of her hair at night with it and I do the same to my hair. I use it after a shower, first thing in the morning and it works beautifully as a massage oil. That is, when I can get Esposo to give a sista a massage. Check out what the other ladies are lovin’…
