Okay, for the record – I am not Irish. Not even a little bit. I mean, maybe but I doubt it. Probably not. So yeah. I never get into celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve never had green beer and I’ll likely punch you in the throat if you pinch me for not wearing green. *snort*
Okay, I’m kidding. Maybe a little. But I DO looooove the color green. It’s one of my favorite nail polish colors. I know a lot of nail polish lovers will be whipping out green nail polishes out in honor of St. Patrick’s Day so I decided to highlight some of my favorites.
butter LONDON’s Thames is such an interesting green. Remember when I featured it here? I mean, it almost isn’t green. It’s more of a murky swamp breen (brown and green) with turquoise microglitter. It’s lovely and perfect for those who want to wear a green that isn’t GREEN.
Zoya’s Veruschuka is one of my favorite nail polishes of all time. I’m already in love with Zoya’s Matte Velvet finish but then to give us that with a dark emerald is just true love.
Sometimes you want green on speed. That’s what Cult Nails’ Deal With It is. Cult Nails is closing their doors but if you can manage to snag one of these bright green shimmery polishes, consider yourself lucky because it is truly one of a kind. More pics of that very beautiful polish here.
China Glaze’s Budding Romance reminds me of puke. Very mature of me, I know but it’s a grunge’y gross swampy green and I LOVE it.
Essence Cosmetics’ L.O.L. lies sweetly between green and yellow. It’s not a shade for the tame at heart. You’ve gotta be a bold gal who doesn’t mind rocking a green like this.
Do you do anything fun for St. Patrick’s or…not so much? And what about green nail polishes?
I’m wearing KBShimmer Green Hex and Glam. Love it, it’s so squishy and sparkly 🙂
Your nails are gorgeous!! Love the colors & my daughter already asked if we could paint hers for St pattys day!
These are so fun! My nails are currently bare, so I’m thinking I definitely need to get them ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (although I’m not at all Irish either). I’m loving most all of these but the Cult Nails’ Deal With It is really calling to me!
I’m not a big fan of the neon green but some of the other shades are awesome! Since I don’t have much green to wear, I’ll have to pick up some polish for tomorrow!
I’m kinda loving the Thames color. I’ve only worn green on my nails once, but I loved it so I really should do that again!
Veruschka is so, so, SO good.
The Butter London Thames color is fabulous!! I need it in my life…asap!
Love Butter London! Their polishes are great.. I’ve had good luck with the China glaze also!
They’re all so colorful and perfect as we head into spring. The shade from Zoya is one that speaks St. Paddy’s Day to me!
You’re definitely pinch-proof with those colors! What a fun way to be a little festive.
Those are great greens! I love the lime!
What fun colors! I love the first teal color.
I love these colors! But, Butter is my fav!
I really love all the sparkles in the one. The Zoya’s is a beautiful color, though.
I have to admit I love the China Glaze Blazing Romance. Its eccentric and fun!
Great selection Zoya is probably my favorite. All great colors though.
Totally loving that neon green! My BFF would die for it!
I love the first two, but I think I could never wear the second two.
I didn’t even wear the first bit of green for St. Patrick’s day but of course my children were all dressed up :). That second color of polish is really pretty!
I wanted to paint my nails green but got lazy. Love the China Glaze polish!
