The other day I played in nail polish. Y’all have no idea how long it has been since I had some fun and no pressure play time in my nail polish stash. It doesn’t happen often. In fact, it happened WAY more pre-kid. Now instead of playing in polishes, I’m too busy cleaning a kitchen, attempting to spend time with Esposo or just diving into my newest hobby, reading. But whatever. Sometimes you gotta take it back and play, man.
And play, I did! These are all random polishes that I just grabbed from my stash. They are mostly from the Fall 2014 season and sent to me by the brands. Here’s to hoping there are still available should you fall in love with any of them!
Zoya Savita is a velvetty royal purple and my goodness, Zoya certainly knows how to do matte polishes right. Better than any brand in my opinion. And the best thing about them? They last for a nice long while. I can get a good 3-4 days wearing this (without a top coat) before it begins to chip on me. Incredible, right? And speaking of Zoya, do you remember this collection? I still love every single one of those polishes!
China Glaze’s Don’t Get Derailed is a murky sludge brown green and I really never liked shades like this but lately they’ve been calling my name. Hilarious considering I called colors like this dirty mop water colors. And yes, I still think they are quite reminiscent of that but I’m also really liking them. Dang. Thirtyhood is really getting to me.
Perfect Formula Dazzle is a bright magenta and while not insanely unique, Perfect Formula’s polishes are really nice because they.last.forever. I think their top coats are really stellar but the colors are very pretty, too. Even without a top coat, it takes several days before they start chipping. And look at how many colors they have!
China Glaze December to Remember is such a pretty periwinkle blue with shimmer that I hated that I ignored for so long. I received a sample of this before the holidays and for some reason, I never made my way to playing with it? Why, man? I love how fitting it is for Spring, though. I’ve been rocking it regularly.
OPI A Roll in the Hauge is a bright orange. And what’s not to love? People hate on orange nail polishes but I LOVE how orange nail polish looks against my skin. And the more vibrant, the better.
SpaRitual Nomad is copper with bright pink sparkles and I’m not heavily in love with this color but I love the brand SpaRitual so they get a pass. What do you think? Would you rock a shade like this?
I love all the colors!!
Of course you would! You’re a fellow nail polish lover. 😉
I love SpaRitual also 🙂 I love that copper shade on you, maybe not something that i would wear personally 🙂
A bit of a funky shade, isn’t it?
Perfect Formula Dazzle is stunning! I’d love to wear that on my toes IMMEDIATELY, lol! I also LURVE Zoya Savita; such a gorgeous purp on you! So glad you got some polish playtime!
Oooh girl, YES! Fabulous idea. Dazzle would make for a beautiful pedi color.
