Let me tell you about the College Park area in Orlando, Florida. It’s a quaint little part of town where you won’t find many tourists. Locals move up and down the streets drinking coffee at Credo, getting facials at T-Secret and visiting The Spa. The best pasta dishes are served at Trevi Pasta and The Cookie Cousins get an A+ from me in the cookie department.
But if you’re in need of something decadent and luscious, wholesome and healthy, divine and nourishing for the skin, to the Naked Bar Soap Company you must go.
Across the street from the very popular Infusion Tea sits the Naked Bar Soap Company. Owned by the incredibly fabulous duo Jennifer and Natasha, this soaperie is just well, it’s everything. The first time I walked in, I felt like I was at home.
Every time I have a friend in town, guess where we’re going? I’ve got more soap than I can handle but I can’t help introducing the shop to my local gals and out-of-towners just alike. Now some of y’all are going to claim that you aren’t into natural soaps or natural body care products. That’s fine.
But I dare you to walk into this shop and not be prompted to touch a bar, sniff a soap or go back and forth with the idea of purchasing their world famous Pit Cream.
EB already knows the routine for when we visit.
She gets her dolls, a book and mama’s phone and sits in her corner while I chat it up with my girls.
And she never leaves without diving into a bowl of samples.
You can catch me at this place weekly or at least every 2 weeks because aside from just loving the company of these ladies, I thoroughly appreciate and love the products. Especially for all of the eczema issues that we have in this house.
If you’re a bit envious, tuck it in, friends. The Naked Bar Soap Company sells items both online and in stores.
Yeeeeeep, they’ve got it all. Body butters, bath salts, salt bars, handcrafted soaps, natural deodorant, and so many other wonderful products. They also host soap making classes a few times a month so if whipping up your own customized bar of soap sounds up your alley, they’ve got you covered. At the time of this visit, a few loaves were waiting to be cut and look how beautiful these babies are…
I am sooooo here for supporting local and small business owners, so please, the next time you’re in the mood for something nice to slather all over, think of the Naked Bar Soap Company.
Oh! And follow them across social media:
This post is not sponsored. I’d write about these fine ladies and their shop any day of the week.
