Better late than never, girl. Am I right? I went to an insanelyyyy fun and informative blogger meetup with my Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida girls and OFRA Cosmetics last month. We.had.a.blast.
I mean, what’s not to love? Have you tried anything from OFRA? Before this event, I hadn’t. And this is a shame. OFRA has made appearances at several of The Makeup Show Orlando events and I’d see them in passing but never really stopped by to play with the products. My bad. I have seen the light and I am so happy to say that I’ve come across a very stellar beauty and skincare brand.
Based in South’ish Florida, OFRA Cosmetics is one of the few brands that also has a lab on site.
This means, they literally have their hands in the entire product process. If you follow them on Instagram, they often show videos of the products being made. This alone shows how close they are to product production from the minute it becomes an idea to the second they market it to us consumers.
Their skincare line is just as dynamic as their makeup line.
Okay, let’s face it – many brands struggle with this. They may put all of their eggs in one basket and only REALLY focus on either skincare or makeup. OFRA has successfully developed both sides of their business beautifully and it shows because their skincare items are phenomenal.
They’re all in the family.
Call me old skool but I love supporting family-owned businesses. Launched by Ofra Gaito and her husband David, OFRA Cosmetics is truly a brand honors family first. With Ofra’s daughter and son-in-law also working for the company, I just find it refreshing to support businesses that leave legacies to their children. It’s such an inspiration!
OFRA shows love to makeup lovers and makeup professionals alike.
As a beauty blogger, many of my close friends are makeup artists and I love when a brand impresses me as much as it impresses the MUAs. Not only does OFRA provide kits to budding makeup artists in cosmetology schools across the globe, the brand also sells similar kits for ANYONE to purchase. Gotta love brands that support makeup artists.
Their liquid lipstick.
Ooooh girl. So I know there are a lot of liquid lipsticks on the market but OFRA makes the best one that I’ve ever tried! Big claim, I know, but you really have to try it to believe it. Developed in gorgeous shades fitting for everyone, I’ve found their liquid lipsticks to be some of the most moisturizing that I’ve ever tried.
My favorite shade? Santa Monica! And I’ve got to get my hands on that Mina.
Have you ever tried anything from the brand OFRA Cosmetics? Let me know if you’ve got anything on your radar. I’m making a wishlist as we speak.
FTC Disclosure: I attended an event and received these featured items gratis. However, I was not paid to write this post and all opinions are my own.
I don’t need makeup, but if I ever start wearing it, I will look into this brand 🙂
Looks like a pretty cool company, I will have to check them out
Have not used them. Will have to check it out now.
That middle lip color is something my daughter would wear! I’ll have to let her know about this!
As a Blogger … I enjoy knowing about new Brands ….I like the eye shadow palette and the one that has the shimmer in it
I haven’t heard of this brand before, but that foaming Vitamin C cleanser looks good!
I am a makeup lover and need to check this brand out
what a fun time you had. Call me next time I’ll come hang out.
looks like a fun event. that color palate is really nice
I love me some great makeup and beauty products. I haven’t tried Ofra yet.
I’ve never heard of this brand before. Thanks for sharing about them. Liquid lipstick sounds awesome!
I have never heard of this line but am totally into learning more. Sounds like a great line. Thanks for sharing.
I always love learning about new brands. Love the colors here.
I like to support family-owned businesses too. This sounds like a great brand. I’ll remember. Ofra.
I’ve never heard of this brand, but I will definitely be on the lookout!
The vitamin C cleansers sounds really nice. I would like to try that myself.
Give it a whirl. You will LOVE it!
It’s hard to find a good brand that provides quality skincare and makeup products. My personal reference is Clinique, but I am open to trying another brand if it is of good quality, and OFRA sounds llike it makes good quality products. I am especially interested in the liquid lip color as I’m finding that many of the brands out therre dry out and crack.
If you like OFRA, you’ll like Clinique. I think Clinique is the only higher-end brand that I can think of that has a stellar skincare section and does pretty good with makeup, too.
Looks like a lot of fun. I have yet to go to a meetup and meet other bloggers but would really love to.
I have a bronzer I got maybe from Boxy Charm or Ipsy. I’m thinking BC because it’s full size and it very nice. I like it a lot and maybe an eyeliner or lip liner. Can’t remember. But what I have gotten and tried in subs boxs or bags. I really like them. Now I know the history behind this brand and that it’s family owned here in the US I will be looking into buying more from them. So glad u wrote this and I saw it and read it. I want to help companies like that as much as I can. And def going to find them on IG. That would be so fun to watch. Thanks so so much. I love this Lipstick League. I started with Nouvoue Cheap blog.
Yay! I’m so glad to hear that. And thanks so much for your visit.
I am way into the bright eyeshadow colors! I would love to try new eyeliner and a skincare product. I’m trying to make a new skincare regime!
