Wanna feel like a boss?
Buy a car.
I’m not kidding. I thought I had hit the jackpot the day I went to that used car lot and purchased my first car. Yeah, it was used, but honey, that was MY car. I saved up the money for a down payment. By.myself. I felt like such a grown up.
Last month I finally paid that car off and while le’ Nissan and I have had our share of fabulous road trippin’ memories, ole’ girl is acting like she wants to give up the ghost. I mean, what? I pay you off and you want to start acting up? This is sad.
Getting the opportunity to review the NOCO Boost Jump Starter could not have come at a better time. Poor Esposo is now rollin’ with my car (while I get to tote the kids in his car, hehe) and every few weeks, he finds himself getting stranded. Okay yeah, we know it’s time to buy a new car but we will literally rock with this bad boy until the wheels fall off. And this Jump Starter has literally saved us time and time again.
If you’ve got a car, you’re probably used to regular jumper cables, right? We should all keep a pair in the trunk for those just in case moments.
Well look, you know you’re a millennial when your jumper cables are plugged in by USB. Heyyyyy!
Retailing for $69.95, you’re probably thinking that spending that amount of money on jumper cables better bring about some serious features. And…it does!
- One single charge gives you up to 20 jump starts.
- You can recharge your smartphones and tablets!
- Doesn’t just charge cars. Also charges motorcycles, ATVs, lawn mowers, etc.
- Comes with a very bright LED flashlight with 7 light modes.
Those are just the specs that I understand. Those of you car nerds who understand car lingo will likely be impressed with some of the other features. But for the average car owner, the above, I think, is important.
My car is strugglin’ with some kind of battery issue that we can’t diagnose (and neither can the 3 mechanics we’ve taken the car to) so the NOCO Genius Boost Sport has been so useful. With its compact size and easy to read display, jumping the car has been too easy. Trust us. We would know considering we’ve had to jump start our car, oooohhhh, 7-10 times in the past month.
If you can’t start the new year off with a new car, your best bet is to come prepared with these jumper cables. It’s not too late to gift them either! I’m thinking about stocking my sisters up with a set of these. You can get them from the following retailers:
Global Industrial
AtBatt.com
BatteryMart.com
Ecom Electronics
Bass Pro Shops
BoatBandit.com
Fellow car owners, have you ever had to jump start your car?
FTC Disclosure: I received this item in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own and I have no reason to lie as my car really is caca and the actual struggle is actually real. *snort*
I have been looking for something like this!! Thanks Brittany!
Thanks Jesse!
Oh snap! This would totally have come in handy when I had my Saturn! I’ll have to tell my Dad about it because he’s been having battery issues with his truck.
He’ll definitely get some use out of these!
Those jumper cables sound legit. May need to grab a pair for my esposo’s car too.
That looks incredibly useful! I have had to jump my old car. Not fun.
Sucks, right???
