Welp. Tarte does it again. Like they alwaysssss do it. They always know how to make me swoon. Look at these glosses…
Don’t they look all juicy-fied? I’m hoping they aren’t a holiday-exclusive thing because honestly, I’m going to need to have access to these year-round. All 5 shades are perfect for all complexions. They are sheer enough to wear solo but you can also layer them for some extra moisturization and shine to your lippies.
One day moisturization will be a word but until then I’m going to keep rockin’ it regularly. M’kay? 😎
Like all Tarte products, these are preservative-free so they are free from sulfates, phthalates and parabens so if you’ve got crazy sensitive skin issues, these should be okay. Tarte has been on this maracuja oil kick (not that I’m complaining) so the glosses all have a dose of the magical oil in them. Tarte also says that the inclusion of the oil is supposed to help plump the lips but honestly…my lippies are already pretty grande so it’s hard to tell. Ha!
The family….
Curious is a sheer petal
Bubbly is a sheer rose.
Chic is a watermelon berry
Preppy is a bubble-gum pink
Sparks is a cotton candy
Cost: The set goes for $35
Where To Get It From: Sephora and Sephora.com

Cute. But $35? pssh. E.l.f. makes similar ones for a buck each! Do you see any reason to pay the extra money?
Yep! Tarte is a cruelty-free natural beauty brands and those kind of brands are typically going to cost more. It’s a different market so while some gals don’t mind splurging on beauty, I know it’s not for everyone. 🙂
Technically e.l.f is cruelty free… But it is not all natural and the packaging isn’t very nice.
So interesting how the difference between them is subtle, but a difference.
Yep! Very subtle. I do like the brighter shades though. I tend to wear those more solo than the other ones.
