I never meant to turn my kid into a nail polish lover. When EB was first born, everyone would tell me things like,
“Omgggg, she’s going to be so girlyyyy.”
“She’s going to be a mini beauty blogger, right?”
Uh no.
She’s going to like what she likes. I tried really hard to not impose a ton of ALL PINK EVERYTHING on EB. And somehow this kid of mine is a pink loving (even though I don’t like the color pink), tutu wearing, nail polish obsessed lil mama.
It’s adorable.
She was hanging out in the beauty room when my box of ZOYA Wanderlust polishes arrived and this kid literally shrieked nonstop for 2 minutes.
“Mamaaaaaa, let’s swatch them!”
And so we did. We swatched our top 5 favorite polishes from the Wanderlust collection. And did a video to boot!
Sonja. Because I mean this summery crimson red cream is the kind of shade that I could and would wear year round. It’s bright, vibrant and just so incredibly perfect for pedicures. It was huge hit for both the 4-year old and 32-year old.
Oh Estyyyyy…your rich bubble gum pink creaminess is EB’s favorite shade of the bunch. We all know how much I love pinks (just kidding….gag) but we can’t deny how fantastic ZOYA creams are. They apply fully opaque with just one coat. If you’re going to love a cream, it needs to be one that gives you perks like that.
As if you needed another rich magenta violet cream in your life. Lois was a hit for both of us.
Rollin’ on a River, you say? When don’t you need a shimmering cobalt blue in your life? And one that doesn’t stain either? Yes girl.
Arbor is a rich olive green cream that we didn’t expect to love. “It’s so different,” EB says. There’s something funky about it. We dig it.
You can get the entire collection here for $10/bottle.
