Ohmigoodness, Zoya. I feel like it has been foreeeeever since I’ve played around with some of their polishes. I got the Whispers collection to review and I was more than excited about it. I love how Zoya has these Transitional nail polish collections. Granted you can wear WHATEVER color you want but for those true nail polish aficionados than want something special in Fall/Winter shades and Spring shades, a collection like Whispers is IT.
Cala is a soft nude that reminds me so much of melted french vanilla ice cream.
Lake is a softened blue with a touch of gray.
Ireland is the murky green brother of Lake. It’s one of those shades that I don’t like at first glance but can be really pretty on just about all skin tones. This is one of the polishes that you don’t want to knock until you actually try it.
Misty is a creamy taupe that has an interesting retro look to it.
Eastyn could totally be an Easter shade because this grayed grape could be called considered lavender if there wasn’t so much gray in it.
April is my favorite shade because after only 2 coats, this rosy neutral is the perfect simple shade for me.
Many folx would probably label this collection as a dud, but I don’t know. I think it’s some kind of special. And once again, Zoya is having me believe that these colors are pretty unique to their current lineup. The must haves? I find April, Misty and Lake pretty cool. Each polish will likely need at least 2 good coats, although some may beg for a third coat.
Each polish goes for $10/each or you can get the entire collection for $54. Buy here! Which shade is your favorite?
